hey i ride and i have a question. he does it alot but at ill just say 4:57 how does he get on with his foot on the pedal when the cranks are level? wouldnt it send it backwards or do you push the seat forward???

he is putting all his weight on the seat instead of on the pedal. If you just do the mount that seems easiest to you, it wil come automatically. It did for me.

yeah i used to have to have my bottom pedal at 7 o'clock and stuff to mount but now i can have it pretty much anywhere. youll proably be able to too
