R35 GT-R Nordschleife lap

R35 is a high technology super car, I like it. But R34 chassis has style and car itself is much more closer to the driver in my opinion, so I love it! ;)

I'm a big Nissan fan (owned S13 200SX & 100NX GTi) but I don't get it why did they stopped the clock BEFORE he reached full lap. Just look where they started stopwatch and when did they stopped it and you'll see what I mean.

@SymonSR20 It is done for safety. It is so cars are not at full tilt going past the T13 pit. Every timed lap is done this way.

Is boring becouse GTR is the better car so it`s easier to handle. Not to mention that ZR1 has 150 Bhp more and is lighter than GTR. + is much more expencive and the difference is less then half a second on nordschleife :S

On any other track GTR would beat a crap out of ZR1!

first of all its more like 12 seconds, and second of all, the real fact is that jim mero isn't exactly the best driver to be trying to break a record on nordschleife with, even though he is a great pilot. give the zr1 to rohrl or smith and they will destroy the gtr time guaranteed.

gtr is a great car, but it's no zr1 killer.

have anyone looked at the telemetriedata of the lap?

the gtr have at "Schwedenkreuz" round about 280km/h and at the "DöHö" 290km/h,

that speed is impossible for 480hp.

rhe gtr musst have min. 100hp more for this speed.

but its a grat car and in a german car magazine (AMS) the gtr have a 7:47 for the nür. , thats very fast for a car with over 1,7t.

He doesn't even shift manually. And besides that he doesn't even use the full width of the track all the time. But without telemetry or even a camera at the pedals it is hard to say anything besides that.
