I was talking to a Uzbekistan woman with blond hair and she was very nice and friendly untill I said a wrong thing like "Did you say Afgainistain" and she said "No I am Uzbekistan" and couple of days later I seen her in the coffee shop with her husband and she introduce me to her husband and I was telling her about that I was a shortwave radio lisener and can pick up Radio Moscow and Radio Iran and she was very impress.

Those who don't have enough knowledge of the situation in post Soviet states shouldn't judge Government of Uzbekistan by this video. The way soviet republics where divided is like a geopolitical time-bomb. It's very difficult to have a western-like democracy at this stage, as those western 'democratic' powers (+Russia) judge and influence the rulers of these states according to their own national interests, not of people of Uzbekistan. Uzbeks should support the government, to keep the stability!

wow, i am sorry if i hurt your feelings, but i feel funny how come my closest friend's uncle and 2 of his sons died that day? My friend had to call Kyrgyzstan 2 days later to give his condolence to his surviving relatives that had to ran away while they were shot by UZBEK guards. Do you think your opinion would help him? This is not objective. Many problems are there (not much more than in any other country though). However, this video highlights just particular results not causes of these problems. If one learns objectively about the causes he shall understand why this country has this kind of administration and why the government governs as it does. Producers of this kind of brainwashing materials have their own interests and these interests have nothing to do with care about regular uzbek people life.

Extremism is a very dangerous thing. But Uzbeks are not known for it. The president needs to retire! He has been in power since I was born. Uzbekistan should not ask for help because it would invite people that wish to take the Uzbek resources while under the guise of 'helping' the country. Same thing is happening in Iraq. Once the post soviet rulers are dead as well as the mind set, the country can finally move in the right direction. I hope my home country can rise up after a century of abuse.
