  • There are many jobs available and it may not be the type you desire, but the longer you stay away from jobs that you do not want, it makes it most difficult. McDonald's, janitorial, construction and washing dishes. There are many jobs available! So get off the unemployment and get any job, even if you hate it!

  • so far for people that have found a job so far are jobs offered by people they know.

  • There are plenty of jobs available, no one wants to work for minimum wage and accept low end jobs! There is no excuse for not willing to wash dishes, scrub toilets and wait tables! There are jobs, get off of unemployment and get off of your ass and apply! Simple as that! There is no need for unemployment benefits and no excuse for being on unemployment! Get a job regardless of low pay and low end!

  • @patsaxon Not by me I cant get a job doing anything im willing to do anything people don't want to give me a chance they always seem to pick the so called "cool" people.

  • VI, what an GREAT video! You obviously have a heart to help people. Thanks for sharing. I share some of your ideas (all of which are excellent, I might add) and have some additional ones I would be honored to share with your viewers. I recently just completed a book which I'm offering for free through my website if anyone is interested. I'll also send you my video response for your review. Feel free to post it. Tough economy, we have to help each other out.

  • worthless advices

u r talking to people who dont have professions , it's all about small business & Church . Also all ur speak is oriented for USA

  • In order to get a job, you need to learn spanish.

  • i can really relate to the part about wives being complete bitches to their husbands but in my case its my mom. i go out and look for a job and before i even get out the door she tells me all this negative shit and it wrecks my state of mind

  • @anonymousQ45

Im going through the same bullshit, I had to drop school to help her out, while she has a damn masters degree. Why is all the damn pressure on me to find a better job? She has more skills than me and a high degree this is bullshit.

  • I was fired in August this year. I was able to find a far better job in 2 weeks. I applied to a company that was not advertising anywhere that they were looking for someone. They were looking to replace 1 employee that was not pulling their own weight. They hired me on and when I proved myself 1 week later they layed him off. He has not been back. Look where you don't see the now hiring signs. It worked very well for me.

  • @Pitviper1979

    what do you do now?

  • @HookemHorns972 I'm doing security still. Same line of work, but now I have full medical and more pay. I have received 2 raises in 7 months and have been promised more. I highly recommend seeking employment in jobs you have experience in at places that say they don't know if they are hiring.

  • @Pitviper1979

What company? I have done security before for two years. I worked for Securitas U.S.A

  • @HookemHorns972 I won't say what company I was with, other than it started with an R. I have stated that there are never any raises to be gained or promotions with them. I can say that the one I am now with is call Comet Security.

  • don't get discouraged guys. you gotta have faith. faith and hard work. If your are unemployed look for a job everyday don't just look for 1 and call it quits. Get connected and get going. Good luck and happy hunting.

Search for business that just have been opened.

  • who is this fat faced pudgy dumb ass

  • @MerulaMondlicht

amen to that, I am getting ready to move to South Korea. The US isnt where its at anymore. Where do you live?

  • I totally agree. Right now, you have to rely on networking more than your skills. That's just sad. No one wants to hire anyone they don't know.

  • Solution: Soyuz Sovetskikh Sotsialisticheskikh Amerika (CCCA)

  • What about get computer certs? like MCSE (Microsoft certified system engineer) Would that be different than a full bachelors

  • This video is depressing

  • I suggest we shoud bring in Communism in USA. that would solve lots of problems..

  • US will not turn around for AT LEAST 10 years, and may even collapse like USSR did in 1991! Why? Corruption! Bush/Cheney stole all the money already - top secret military budget went to Halliburton, et al. Feds take 90% of your taxes and nothing trickles down to State or local governments. In addition, Feds demand that State and locals lend them money - but they don't pay back! So States steal from locals, and locals tax YOU multiple times - for everything! TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION!

  • Anyone know immigration procedures for work permits in Japan, India, China, Singapore, Korea, Australia?

  • @pvasa20

For Korea, be prepared to go through a criminal background check. I am movking to S.Korea to teach English.

  • Folks, Asia is the future. Hong Kong, Australia, India, China, Singapore are hiring. US is not turning around anytime soon.

  • @pvasa20

Hold on, you mean Hope & Change wont fix the economy???..lololol.

  • I set up my own business in January, 2010. I am 52 and handicapped. In France cuz I couldn't get healthcare in the US. My business is called a "EURL" in France. I am just me, a going concern.

    Best to you.

  • It is hard finding a job. In my current job, my boss cut my hours, and for the past month I have been doing some MLM. It's going great, and It will get better because it's going international.. I am inviting you all to a free webinar this Friday, Sunday, and wednesday.

    contact me..

  • I posted some articles on visionvictorymanifesto. com.

The small comment box just doesn't cut it anymore ;)

  • A Correction Officer is one of the jobs that is always hiring. You do not need a College Degree to do this. You will most likely have to be a Citizen of your local State for one year, and you will need a valid drivers license. You will need to pass a Civil Service Exam. PA has a Civil Service Website where you can apply for this position online and set up a testing date with the Civil Service Commission. I don't know if other States do this? I Hope this helps someone find a job.

  • I've been a CO, and it's absolutely horrible. Wasn't worth having shit and spit flung at me, working absurd hours, putting my life at risk... only to find out that I made less than my son's school bus driver.

  • I'm a Correction Officer in PA. I can tell you that there is never a Recession or a Depression when it comes to locking people up in the U.S. My suggestion to some of the Job seekers is to go to your local State Civil Service Commission and look for a Correction Officer Trainee Position. This is an excellent field to be in and you never have to worry about being laid off. I've been doing this for 16 years and I love it. Stressful Yes, but Guaranteed work with decent Benefits and Retirement!

  • Heck yeah ! Go work in the American Gulag !

  • Hey I thought there were no jobs and the economy was going to shit? Whats up with this, all of sudden there are job opportunities when you have been saying that the economic collapse what around the corner. Daniel I always watch your videos and agree with you most of the time however Im bit confused a with your message that there are now jobs and business opportunities available.

  • Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added onto you - It delivered me. These are hard times, but you'll find peace in the Lord.

  • war is the only thing that recovers an economy. we could war with China, N.Korea, Iran, Venezuela, Mexico, and they are all preparing for war with us as a matter of fact. So war will get every one a job either shooting, or pressing bullets.

  • i can't hire anyone because they think they are worth more then they are, or, everyone is on drugs and alcohol, or no skills. This country is cursed with "privilege" mentality.

  • I totally agree people want to make a thousand bucks a week to set in an office and play on the internet.

  • who do YOU know that makes that kind of money?!? hell,i'd be happy with $10 per hour.

  • @linwooddeaton If you would be happy at ten an hour try getting a job as a security officer. If 10 makes you happy and you would not mind being stuck at ten for life I suggest trying for a job at any security company affiliated with Murdock Security based out of NY. If you want to ever get raises go somewhere else.

  • many anathesiologists do it and make a heck of a lot more money than 1000 a week. they just make their rounds from time to time and check on the nurse anesthists to see if all is ok which is useally the case. health care needs to be reformed in many ways, but in a way thats fair to the people.

  • Distilling moon shine is another to make money on the side. Just make it cheaper than what is retailing at.

  • @idrobinhood yeah real smart shithead

  • #1. Check Craigslist jobs and Gigs

#2. Apply at temp agencies let them find you work.

    #3. Send Video Resumes

#4. Follow up, Follow up, Follow up

  • great idea, Rigth now, I'm working on my Driving skills so I can either get into a Truck driving job, Bus Driving job or what ever beside, If you have your high school diploma, you should take Drivers ed and go for your CDL licens so you can get into a job, here is a secret sign up with C.R. England they traine drivers for their company and can get you in the job.

  • Dan

What I have found works, is phone calling & talking to the person in charge of hiring. Call from 9-7 & email resumes when you find a lead. Best time to call small business is after 5 pm. Normally this is when everyone leaves and the boss answers the phone;.frequently because he's the only one in the office & enjoys time alone.. When you mail resumes, MAKE THEM UNIQUE, so that they don't look like a bill, stand out, & make people want to read them~ Last thing pray novenas. It really works.

  • Wise words. I have been telling my friend that are unemployed the same thing but they all seem to sit at the computer and send resumes all day long.

  • Very good points. 5 stars again.

  • I miss the dream of the 50s. It breaks my heart that I have to settle for a man in a woman's body. Where did the girls go and why was this done to us?

  • WTF?

  • My grandpa has lost several thousand investing in MLM..... stay away from it unless you already know what you're doing.

  • A guy stopped by my place today w/a flier for a job as a census worker. $12.50/hr

Said they have LOTS of work, and desperately needing workers. He said he made $4500 on last census for 3 months

work. 4 days of training...also paid

I asked him if ppl were gettting shot, he said, that was last year;( Also said there is 30% less questions this year from 2000.

  • Everything is changing. What used to work in the past may not work today. When you are looking at finding a job or self-employment options looks at making life easier for people. What is growing? Unemployment, foreclosures, bankrupcies, crimal element, uncertainty, fraud, government, unaffordable housing etc. Where there is a crisis there is also opportunity. Use the crisis to see the new opportunities. Someone's curse can become someone else's blessing. Look deep.

  • Danny, I understand men see themselves as breadwinners, but women are breadwinners also, and see themselves as such also.

Why aren't you telling your MALE audience to "be there" for their wives as well?! Two incomes are needed these days, don't kid yourself. There's a lot of "shes" looking for work too. it works two ways- I'm disappointed in you.

  • Better.

  • Wow Daniel the VictoryIndependence, This is one of your most compassionate videos so far. Thanks for the great information, your subscriber in unemployment, Mike in CO

  • As of right now, working for yourself may be the best way to make money.

As far as real estate is concerned, I'm considering purchasing several multi-family housing units - quadplexes etc. Also mobile homes in parks.

Families that are coming out of homes who can't afford a home anymore need cheap housing. Super cheap housing I think is overlooked. Even housing to throw section 8's in.

  • for the wives, texting your husband some photos of bills or a credit card that the cashier just cut up would be great motivation throughout the day. also, on the drive home, he may have forgotten that he's unemployed, you should put an empty plate in front of him for dinner and tell him"you don't work, you don't eat."

  • @pentel1911

I think thats a little overboard! If mans got a half of a brain and good work ethics, he will find a way to work.

  • pentel:

what makes you think she's not working too? Quit pretending it's the 50s, it's not and never will be again.

  • haha, sarcasm goes over so well here on youtube.

  • I like the video it shows you have compassion and i can respect you for that thanx for the info

  • Good Thinking Daniel ! Great Advise ! 5*

  • My husband found a job overseas. It has been hard to have him away, but we have made it work. Went from an office job to outside work.

He got the job by asking people who work for his desired company to give him the name and number of the hiring person. He finally got one hiring person who liked his resume and phone manners so much, she told the correct hiring person to hire him.

Great reminder to us wife's to be loving to men working hard to get a job.

  • Amen Sister! I'm the man looking.

  • your advice is sound but what about if you are in your 50's and 60's and have been down-sized for more than 10 years?

    We don't stand a chance

  • Actually, who you know has always been a big part of success. I understand this video is about finding jobs. From what I've been observing though, so many people are just tired, worn down. It's truly sad to see. It's easier said than done when you're in a hole, have busted your ass to get somewhere, all to be kicked down again and again. We are dealing with more than just lack of jobs, this country continues to become more and more depressed. That's going to be difficult to overcome.

  • where can you find good information on job trends and demand? and what job do you think will be both plentiful and has good pay?

awesome videos keep up the good work appreciate it

  • Do the stuff no one else wants to do

    Think Collections or Repo jobs

  • My suggestion is to work for free at a company you want to work at.

Spend 4 hours a day working there and the rest looking for a paying gig.

This does 2 things, it will keeps your skills sharp and show you are about the work not just the money to any potential employer who is smart enough to know people who love their work are the hardest workers because they don't consider it working.

  • Im surprised to hear you say that. Work for free? If millions of people are working for free, its more of a reason for the employer to not hire anyone.

Why work for free when you could be trying to figure things out, make a new business, come up with some brilliant idea, product, etc.

When people are up against the wall they make shit happen, and we are at that point. You will either make it happen or youre gonna fail.

  • Creating your own business is an option that as some risk.

Working for free and working hard will have the employer feel the need to pay your or you WILL find someone willing to pay you for your desire to work.

It's a stupid statement if everyone worked for free employers would bid for the best employees because the free work paid off. The cost of training and finding the right employee is costly.

  • I am self-employed and I agree with you. First, it has a positive psychological impact. Second, every experience, good or bad, increases your knowledge. Third, there's an old adage that the best way to find a new job is to have one already. Fourth, it gets you out into the community. You're much more likely to find opportunities than people who stay home mailing out resumes. I'll stop here, but you get the idea.

  • Thank you same here I am self employed and most people see them selfs as worker slaves. Mean while if if was the stone age or now we all need to produce to survive.

It's like the forest burning down in stone age and the people sit there saying "well, all the game is gone we will wait for it to come back."

    WTF!

You need to eat, you need to practice or travel far, I don't give a shit what's fair.

  • I don't even know how to respond to that, except to say, HELL FREAKIN" YEAH!

Shit happens. Things change. Adapt or die. Life isn't fair. Get over it!

  • I was 17 during the 1983 recession. There was nothing out there for me. I had to join the army for a paycheck. Since then I've been kinda paranoid about work, opting for a steady paycheck rather than a high one. I ended up as a diesel truck and heavy equipment mechanic since it seemed like the most steady good paying job available to me. Everything in the country is either grown or transported with diesel technology. It's been a good career for me.

  • Smart thinkinggggg good brainstorming.

Just present yourself as a good worker, a strong worker, and that they get their moneys worth when you work for them. I just did that it works very well

  • Join local "meetup" groups. Not for jobs but for hiking and socializing. It's a stress reliever and you'll make contacts contacts contacts. THAT's where you'll find the jobs. Patronize the same coffee houses and small grocers on a REGULAR basis. It's easy to form bonds very quickly and all those people know a million other people. Good job vibes to all.

  • Housing in Detroit, MI is cheap and there are Urban Farming movements springing up. Could be a good opportunity for someone. One guy bought a house for $500. Farming and Health related services are areas to consider getting into. Food security and Health.

  • Be willing to relocate. Don't limit yourself to your current location. Consider looking in areas where the cost of living is lower than you live now. A lower cost of living will allow you to live on less.

  • @rflosi

your exactly right, which is why I am moving to South Korea to teach English. Working in a cubicle in NYC isnt doing it for me anymore.

  • @KingDrudge Interesting. Do you speak Korean as well then?

  • @rflosi excellent point =)

in these times, i think its critical for people to step outside the comfort zone.

i have a friend who is currently in nyc. born and raised there and even attended college.

she is stuggling right to pay for school, rent, and her bills. cost of living is high in nyc. yet she says she can't see herself being anywhere other than nyc. so u will stay somewhere and struggle?

    sigh......

  • @shasanni Has she been anywhere else? Plus, working for money might not be the best of ideas anymore anyway. If you haven't gotten into Robert Kiyosaki yet, he's got some great books. Rich Dad, Poor Dad; Cashflow Quadrant; and Mike Maloney's Guide to Investing in Gold and Silver are 3 I've read and recommend from the Rich Dad company. Helped me see things from a different perspective. We are doing a permaculture farm apprenticeship for room and board next season.

  • Lets show people how to become Entrepruners and not get a job as a job is something like being a slave to the system.

If anyone is interested in starting a gold and silver business from home, hit me up. Getting a job is the wrong idea right now, we must work smarter and help people change there ideas and start helping people sell gold and silver.

  • Daniel -- you hit the nail on the head. My husband has two job leads right now back into his pre-recession/depression profession (he's been working at the local hardware store for 2 years). Both of these leads came from former co-workers who called him up and said their employers were interested in possibly hiring him after THEY bragged him up to their bosses (yeah, these guys are good friends!!!) We'll see what happens. But as you said, it DOES seem that who you know is paramount.

  • Fresh out of the liberal think tanks (college). Leaving for China on the 19th to teach English and wait out the job market for a bit. We'll see. I think if I can pick up Mandarin I'll always have something to fall back on.

  • if you can go back to school at a public school I think that could be worth it. But i'd try to work a job and not take any loans while you are doing it. I feel like if you can get a degree without loans its a good deal.

  • You people are kidding right?

Most of my 45 years I've been lucky to earn 12k to 18k

    You'll get used to it.

  • I got a job two months ago because i knew someone who knew the interviewer.

  • thanks

  • Make use of LinkedIn to find and connect. Remember most companies offer their employees referral bonuses when they recommend someone who is hired. Work this to your advantage - they will be motivated to help you get your foot in the door. Join LinkedIn groups within your industry, contribute to the discussion blogs so others get to know who you are.

  • Both Canada and Australia are better places to be in the coming years than America. Even places in the US like Idaho are doing all right so far.

I'd advise you to stay away from the Euro zone.....

  • I am in North West Canada. I was in Prince George, this weekend in the mall, there are no available retail space. On Saturday, shops and boutiques were full, Costco and Walmart were full of people. The economy here is doing just fine.

  • Canada does seem to have a nice economy. Not perfect, but it looks quite favorable. I like the mining sector

  • I'm 30, going on 31. I've been looking for ways to become independent rather than dependent. To be completely honest, I see going back to relying on a job to make my way in a society that seems deemed to doom is not the way forward.. rather the way forward is to generate wealth somehow and get the heck out of this country.

  • I totally agree. Why in the world would you want to keep this charade going anymore? This whole system is flawed. It's all based on greed, and material things. The same reason God is allowing this judgment to come upon us is because we've put "IN GOD WE TRUST" on our money, and yet the only god Americans trust is their money. Are people ever going to learn how to have faith? (Matthew 6:19-34) << Please read those verses.

  • @markymarkuss777

Yes it is, there's so much greed and corruption it's not even funny. People don't realize how they've been indoctrinated into believeing that capitalism is the best. Everything you think you know, even Vision Victory, might not have the full story. It's a THEORY!!!! It doesn't work well for 300Million people!!!!!!!!

Wake up guys, you've been indoctrinated into this system and the Right continues to teach us that capitaism is the solution (no I'm not a marxist), just think

  • @john5246

    *ran out of space

just think for yourself, there could be something beyond capitalism, something beyond Socialism, use your brains for once, think!, try create something better instead of hanging on the ideas of people 100's of yrs ago. They teach that capitalism is the best and it works, well works for who? The top 20%? They want to keep their power and control so keep teaching us that the capitalist system is the best.

  • Comment removed

  • That is a bad attitude... Are you trying to help yourself?

  • mcdonalds is always hiring champ

  • I'm much more valuable than to work at any place that treats you like less than human, as well as paying you less than show horses or show dogs. God has equipped me with faith in HIM. HE supplies all my needs. Learn faith and then apply it. Read Matthew 6:19-34. Peace.

  • markymarkuss777, You're not listening, meka4996 is asking a question that actually holds the answer you seek; Are you trying to help yourself?

God can't help you if you think that flipping burgers is beneath your dignity. If Jesus could wash others' feet, you can flip burgers, trust me.

  • It may not be that flipping burgers is beneath a person; rather, flipping burgers doesn't keep food on the table and the bills paid. I've gone from a 9 room home to a trailer with VERY low rent (only 300 a month), have 2 kids (one is disabled) and a disabled wife. Flipping burgers wouldn't even come close to keeping us afloat.

  • So, what do you think would be best for someone trying to further their education, as far as get a degree do get a degree and what type of degree? Just wanted to hear your opinion.

  • Daniel, just another great vid. I DO appreciate your time invested. You always make me think. :)

  • One option would be to look for work in ANOTHER COUNTRY.......There are some opportunities for Americans abroad. Personally I am looking into this myself. I met this someone online who took a job in Asia.

*Note: There may be opportunities overseas, but this move may not be for everyone. Moving to another country is a huge step and culture shock would be rough on some people. But it could be a great move if you're out of work and interested in another culture.

  • good stuff. I agree, that it is more important who you know, rather than what you know, when it comes to getting a new job.

  • I work in retail, and I can say that I've seen a LOT of people that fill out applications right on the spot. I advise against this, take it home and do a nice job. If you leave too much blank and don't have the right addresses, phone numbers, etc, hiring managers do not take you seriously. Also, I can tell you that spelling, grammar and neatness counts.

  • I agree with you on a lot of what you say!!!!!

    1. It will come down to who you know. But some employed are worried about job security. But connections may help you out!

    2. Too many of the masses think going to school will help them. But most people have no clue how bad the economy really is. So a new degree or starting a business may be a waste of time and money.

    3. I got a business degree 10 years ago. Interesting that it may be useful in Asia in the future!!!!! Maybe I should move!!

  • I have been working for a Dairy Company for six years now in the Bay Area. People always need Milk, sour cream, eggs and half & half. No matter what direction the economy is going. I work at least 50 hours a week. The Food Industry is the way to go. I thank God for my job!

  • This is the time to meet a need.

Curiously this is the time to start a business.

    Think basic and think local..

    Raise chickens, learn clamming, fishing.

Start a garden. There is a learning curve so get busy.

Don't go back to school, Start a school! Specialize!

    Don't rely on big corporations.

    Surviving is Local, Local, Local.

  • I wish I could give you 10 thumbs up. Your comment is right on. As oil / gas prices go up, the local "micro-economy" is going to take over. As for starting one's own school, giving classes on gardening, home preservation of food and other self-sufficiency topics is an excellent idea. Hmmm . . . .

  • 2 of my friends who have been out of work one or more years each just got jobs. How? One of them had been off benefits bc he said there is more pride in doing something on your own than with taking a handout that he philosophically disagrees with. He stayed on a couch and did odd jobs until he just landed a job back in his profession. My other buddy was on aid for a year. He looked hard to find something that would make him happy and did just go for the money. he said its not easy but he's happy

  • First of the long term unemployed are running out of unemployment benefits (99 weeks worth). Things will get ugly this year.

  • E-mail and US postal mail and hand delivery your resume and lower your expectation. If you where making $25 PER HOUR do not expect $25 per hour.

Also, take a community college class. Public speaking, computer classes to update your skilss, etc. etc.

  • Life is who you know......not what you know

  • Learn some Chinese, get a degree in finance and/or economics, and move to China. That's what I would tell any youngster who thinks they have a future in the U.S. with an art degree or even an MBA.

  • I've been to China twice (to adopt two children) in 2005 and 2007. It would be the LAST place I'd choose to live. The pollution of the cities and poverty of the countryside are huge, huge problems that are not going to be readily solved any time soon. China has advanced their economy at great expense to their environment. You can't safely drink any tap water in China, for example.

  • Welding. Think about it - in demand when things are good, in demnd when things are bad! And not everyone has the skill & equipment.

  • smart stuff

  • Unemployed people need to read the book: "How to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie.

For many job positions 80% of getting a job is how you present yourself and sell yourself. Learn to sell yourself better than the rest.

  • thanks

  • All well and good, the Govt is purposely sending jobs overseas. This is the root cause, people need to vote out the Govt & get Patriots leading the country. Otherwise, you'll just get a job as an Obama-Nazi

  • Amen

  • Also, long-term learn a foreign language. Mandarin would be my first choice, but also Korean (very hard), German, Japanese, and no doubt some others.

  • @bearcat648 Learn Spanish-then you can head to Latin America.

  • thats what I did....unfortunately didnt start learnin spanish til i moved to Costa Rica last yr...which is my recomendation if considering South/Latin America

  • Great advice for the wives, Daniel. I've never felt financially secure enough to get married. Now, I thank God I never have. I think (unfortunately) the current world is made for a person like me:unmarried,no children. Be mobile, travel light, as few obligations as possible. Sad but true.

  • Online business is where all the growth is as far as retail goes. Thats how I make my living. Its not for everyone though, I gotta computer science degree so web hosting and creativity and SEO are the type of stuff right up my ally. 99 percent of people would fail if they tried to emulate me.

MLM IS NOT the future of online business for multiple reasons. First its not even really a legit business. 2nd it requires a lot of heavy recruiting so its a big risk for the long term.

  • @skyding8962 I agree. Online is the future. I will be launching an ecommerce biz soon. I didn't find SEO to be very difficult to grasp, just takes time to learn like anything else, some of the work does seem time consuming and tedious.

  • SEO is hard because not only does it take great skill and research but it takes a lot of work. Its a lot more than meets the eye.

Anyone can get a website on page 10 of google for a popular keyword.

But I have some websites that are on page one for fairly popular terms and on page 2 or 3 for extremely popular terms. I have 20 websites so its even harder to keep up with SEO. Im going to have to dump a few of them because the return on investment and time isn't worth it.

  • hey sky.. do you mean affiliate marketing? how many websites do you have? i had some minor successes with that several years back, although i had some problems with the merchants i was getting sales for (stiffed me for payment etc).

  • the nice thing about online is that you can be global from your living room.

  • Most of my sales come from U.S Most other countries just don't have the population or the spending power or the interest in products to be viable.

One has to cater websites / businesses to each country. So far U.S is the only one worth doing so.

  • Gold prospecting.

    :-)

  • It usually boils down to "who you know." That's been my experience...

  • I think there is a lot of money to be made online through internet marketing. Just takes some time to learn. driving traffic to make sells on others websites/products

  • I have never seen any MLM business be profitable for others except for the very few that got in first. Stay away from them. They will have you buying $tart up kit$, "training video$", and products in advance. Don't do it. It NEVER worked for anyone except the people who started them.

  • thx for the advice

  • mlm= scams that stupid people fall for.

Yes I fell for two when I was in college, good thing I only put $200 into it.

Sure people do make money but on the ones on top. Also all these services and products are crap to begin with. The whole thing is built on tryin to get people to sign up to sell magically products that will make them a millionaire.

I'll stick to my day time job and investing in chinese stocks.

  • ANYTHING that deals with fixing things (or reselling used items) instead of buying new - Craigslist-type stuff. Think of the needs people have when they have less money.

  • well its not much, if you are out of work start devoting a few hours a week on working out. If you are overweight, then you are less likely to be hired then if you are thin and in shape.

    Sad but true

  • If you are overweight and unemployed u should be at the gym for 2-3 hours 5 times a week, even if all you do is walk on the treadmill. You will probably loose weight faster than you think and overall feel really great about yourself.

  • i've was out of work for 16 months and the only was i got a job was though a friend just the other day.

  • thx for sharing

  • Great ideas and suggestions, Daniel

  • My advice to people struggling in this messed up economy is to choose something that produces something. A useful product or a useful service. Don't get into button pushing or investing or gambling or other things that don't add any value to society. If we all do something that produces, we'll have abundance. Looking out for our own bottom lines by shuffling numbers around only helps ourselves, and only in the short term. Just my thoughts. :)

  • I'll post it to your visionvictorymanifesto website.

  • thx sstoy10

  • The Best way to look for a job is to apply all over the world. You should be willing to work in Indonesia if you want to work for somebody. I recommend starting your own online business. Good Luck while ROME is burning!!!!!

  • Great video!

  • If you must go to school, I recommend the non-credit courses. You don't have to pay nearly as much for them, the fluff is removed, and you don't have take totally unrelated classes. It gives you way more bang for your buck.

  • Put a personal introduction to your resume on YouTube and provide a link on the resume you submit to cos. Wont work with big cos., but might with smaller to med. size ones, if it's well done.

Also apply with a temp agency. If you get a temp job, its a networking opportunity. Get together on a regular basis with friends and share info. Invite a new person each time.

  • Thanks for the video. Now that things are starting to warm up here in MD, I am going to do more networking through volunteering.

  • Hey V,

    Excellent Video. 5 Stars.

How about we get jobs on wall street.?

    That's where the money is.

  • It's 'painful' for a women to not be able to find a job too...

  • I was an employment counselor for the DOL a few years ago....many of the companies who are requesting resumes on-line use keyword search in reviewing them. Go to the Dictionary of Occupational Titles and look up the job description of the job they posted and put in key words from the definition....WinWay Resume Writer is linked wth DOT and does some of the work for you....dont put any info that indicates your age....i have lots of tips or will review resumes for you if youd like

  • mlm can work if you know how to market yourself not the opportunity.

  • Persistance, professional, polite, and productive. Also you might have to RELOCATE. If someone in a town for years and no jobs then you have to move. In the old days it was MUCH more common for people to move. My family moved from Cali to San Antonio with 3 bus tickets and no money. We had to beg for food along the way. And we made it.

  • @vashguud great advice...i couldn't have said it better... The only thing I could add (which is kind of obvious) is to try to focus on the industries and sectors that are more conducive to improve and thrive in the ongoing recession ie. farming, healthcare, etc.

  • First, sell your junk on ebay. Most people have enough junk that when sold can pay a few months of bills. Start an online click thru mall. Youtube videos with ads. Shovel snow, cut grass. Become a gold dealer. Some MLM businesses are good sales learning tools if you want to be an businessperson. Work for property managers as maintenance personnel. Move to an apartment and rent out your house. In a word, hustle.

  • This video didn't even show up on my subsciptions?

  • its because youtube loves me lol

thx for letting me know. its been a problem for a lot of people for the past 2 months.

  • V.V.,

What do you do for work?

  • I run the bilderberg group. J/K

I keep my business private because its client based. If one of the people who hate me attacked my business it could cause PR problems.

  • I've been looking at jobs overseas, especially in Asia where most of American capital has transferred to. There are plenty of teaching jobs in Asia where schools desire native English speakers as instructors.

  • Hook up with someone with money.
