This debate about the origins of Babra is ridiculous! What if she was born into the red light area. If anything, she should be respected more for that. After all, she transcended herself from those beginnings, overcame her physical flaws, to rule hearts of the millions through her acting prowess, her choreographic skills, her capacity to perform versatile roles, her exemplary professionalism, her camaraderie with her costars.. These are the things she is famous for to this day.

She is my all time favourite stars but I quoted some excerpts from a renowned filmi writer, columnist and producer Ali Sufyan Afaqi, he said that, not me, she was born in Heera mandi in 1950, he reputation was marred while in early 80's she went on middle east Yatra and prostituted for Sheikh Zaid and other wealthy sheikh to that extent she was brought on stature to Pakistan due to excessive bleeding
