Nobody else dances this like she does. No one. She's flawless, she's so stylish, graceful and light... She's astonishing. No one does this like she does... Brilliant!
who are the people sitting on the side? I didn't know that Tchaikovski pas de deux was a whole ballet with Tibetan monks or whoever those bald men in the robes are!
The solo is taken fron a gala performance, a tribute to Maya Plisstskaya 80th, the scene is Bolshoi Don Quixote act III and the Tibetan monks are actually dancing Tibetan monks.:-D
Wow that is really coincidental! lol. Are the monks all Russian (or of another country) or did they specifically import the monks them from Tibet just for the dance? lol just kidding. Polina is beautiful by the way.
They are a company of Tibetan dancing monks. You can say that they imported them, but normally people would say that they were guesting,as Cojocaru, Kobborg, Semionova herself, Valdes and others did that night. :-)
I love Polina she's amaaazing, but I think her extensions are too high for this choreography and because of it she doesn't seem to be in perfect time with the music. But she is still very compelling and a truly inspirational ballerina.
so many dancers look uncomfortable dancing this piece but she's just so on top of the music, makes it look like a piece of cake & not the extremely challenging dance it is.
She´s my favourite dancer, I love the way she moves her arms, it´s so sofisticated...she´s got a wonderful body for ballet, thin and tall...she´s the best!!!
is it from sleeping beauty...?
