  • arre you trying to build Wall-e wtf is that gonna help with anything

  • check on mine for leged robot beter than nasa one can pass trought the doorway!

  • They only need this thing to move quicker and you have a handy beer platform following you around on a hiking trip.

  • Expensive bed.

  • it would never get stuck.

  • I wouldn't call this a robot. More like a vehicle with wheels going up a hill : /

  • but will it blend??

  • just send a landrover up durrr

  • That isn't walking. that's crawling with style!

  • its a Fake But nice!

  • @CaTnDawG1

    really. i mean. really?

    get off youtube.

  • @CaTnDawG1 lol?

  • @CaTnDawG1 Are you inbred? Or did you mother drop you on your head?

  • I'm loving the corn dogs. Every day I eat the corn dogs. I'm in corn dog heaven everybody.

  • @h1wayman

LOL. What idiot thinks its our friend!?

  • fake nd gay

  • A2-D2....Early years

  • hmmmm ... it kinda looks like the ground is real and the L-R itself is digital .. ?!

  • @michaeldublg

of course its digital! i mean, this technology is so advanced that it cant be made!

  • @DasAntiNaziBroetchen .... what ? it is not digital, its a real prototype vehicle . and there is nothing "that" advanced about it .. ... I'm sorry my comment 5 months ago implied that I had doubts that is was real ...

  • @michaeldublg

No way! have you ever heard about sarcasm?

  • It's the slow and akward start of the Terminator XD

  • Oh shit, hold on guys there's a cliff. Gotta go back down.

  • Why doesn't the NASA make sth more like asimo?

  • @Jormungandr69 - asimo can't walk over rough terrain - it can only walk/run over a flat surface. It's steps are also pre-programmed - it's not fully autonomous.

  • @jwd0808 i DIDN'T SUGGEST SENDING ASIMO TO MARS, I MEAN THAT WITH FURTHER DEVELOPMENT A BIPEDAL ROBOT COULD BE MORE PRACTICAL THAN THIS.

  • chilled xD

  • блядь

  • They never said it was filmed on Mars. Baka. They were just showing it off and what it could do.

  • Did they speed the video up? These vehicles usually move very slowly.

  • This looks extremely fake.

  • It's the mark I Tachikoma.

BTW the reason why it doesn't have tracks is because it can lock the wheels and use them as feet something you can't do with tracks.

  • Comment removed

  • "They see me rollin..."

  • maybe... but i think thats a no lol

  • oh wow yeah that'll only take a month to go over a hill

  • yes a AT-AT :D:D:D

  • hehe, yea, but the idea is sensational

  • its probably solar powered

  • dude awesome name with the xx's

  • yeah dude, forreal. you too! ;)

  • OMG that's so fast :O

  • @petermcwen this is a demonstration!

  • @petermcwen Perhaps it would, though we must awe at the significance of its movement. What I find amazing, not the fact that its robotics, but the fact that we've come so far as to being able to manipulate materials to personate movement like ourselves, wether it be slow or not, we're getting there.

  • only problem i see is surface area for drive wheels very cool shit though

  • yea if it had tracks i think it would perform better on tough terrains, but that would hinder it speed.

  • shipping to the moon is expensive. a tracked robot would likely be faster, but weigh more.

  • OMG!!! ITS A AT-AT

  • dude, if i saw that on my hill, id freak out.

  • USA have enough problems

  • if it could squat then all you got to do is put a cannon on it call it a sneak tank like a tiger on the enemy

  • that's realy verry verry nice robot

  • very very cool, and very very smart!

  • That might be just a bit too heavy.

  • on the moon... thats going to be weightless...

  • Not weightless.

16.7% of the weight it would be on Earth.

  • as if u have 2 keep it on ur balls...

  • My comment below is just a joke, sorry China, Russia, and the rest.

  • Then we could make em some honey flavored doughnuts dipped in chocolate and antifreez.

Meanwhile as there eating them we(we:-totally freaked out paranoid dipshits TFPD's)can dig a massive fuck off hole so when they die, we can bury the SOB's. kay?

  • Careful, most all the robot parts are made in China. They could very easily send over a boatload of assembled units and then see if the USA wanted to live in peace or not.

  • good joke. not.

  • The bad joke is from those in the USA who pretend bullying other countries is quite ok if they do it. As soon as the situation gets reversed, we see a very different attitude.

  • Everyone does that, your bullying the USA right now... but its OK as long as you do it :)

  • Poor USA shouldn't be bullied.

    Tell that one in Nagasaki.

  • No, everyone doesn't do that, and calling someone on being a bully doesn't make you a bully.

  • a wheeled multiped, like a Tachikoma. Maybe we'll see later models that are faster and more agile, but i suppose thats a software issue

  • WTF soooooooooooooo slow

  • yall stupid. pchcruzer is right they still can't think fast enough

  • computers still cant think fast enogh.

  • pchcruzer - Why do you cuss computers?

  • can you imagine a bird driving this x6 wheels arrrrhhh

  • If the stories doing the round on the internet is right, the next planetary visit of Nibiru into our solar system and close alignment at one point with earth-Nibiru-sun will likely cause massive solar flares to reach the earth and fried earth's butt (Australia) into a continental pizza of a desert. We should hurry up the robotic program to save an Adam and Eve pair at least on Mars if Nibiru proves lethal to all lives on earth when it comes in 2012. (Google NIBIRU or search NIBIRU videos here.)

  • Have you sought medical help for your mental condition?

I attend a school that has a doctorate program in psychology...they might be able to help you.

  • Brilliant. A six-legged, slow-moving spider that can't think for itself and will go somewhere we've been before to tell us that it's as barren as we knew it was anyway. Superb. How's that cure for cancer doing? And the homeless people?

  • id rather hear about the economics in amerika, wait, no i wouldnt!

  • I highly doubt roboticists and/or astronauts are going to do any good as far as cancer research goes.

Now, the cure for homeless people? Don't we already have that? It's called HOMES (you can make more of them. Learn to build.)

  • JACQUER68,BLOODY WELL RIGHT.

  • well your diagnosis of that robot is very poor indeed. first of all it is uncompareable to a spider as it has 6 legs rather than 8. and it is not to crawl around on its own it is designed to carry a pod containing astronaughts. and as for thinking for its self? it is programmed to do these things it isnt part of SkyNet(terminator). if you are wondering why we want to go to mars, well think of it as if the 1st people didnt move from africa we would be dead, so its the next step in staying alive

  • Haha

  • Looks like a Stewart Platform with wheels

  • is the the same machine on mars now with the broken wheel - if so not that's clever if nasa cant go and do a pit stop with that now, 'can they' - but a good tool with a lot of mistakes when it breaks down very expensive mistake indeed.

  • i can do that...

  • It would be awesome if they were'nt controlled by humans and could do this by themselves.

  • One day they will.

  • Search Youtube for "BIGDOG", they already have one that does just that.. A bit wobbly but it could be combined with this technology I'm sure ;)

  • I hope some clever computer design will come along that will reduce the amount of time the robot takes to process how it will get around it's surroundings.

  • too slow wen walking imo

  • No slower thanthe Mars rovers. Its not like it has to travel a long ways.

  • that was cool in a geekie way

  • I can also drive or walk, and step over obstacles.

Granted, I wont be going to the moon though.

  • Or carrying a moon base on your back.

  • Actually, I can do that...

  • but can you get to the moon, to carry said moonbase on your back? :)

  • I could if someone would be so kind as to give me a lift there...
