@mxdmama I just mean it takes longer to see progress, lol. It grows out of my head the same, but instead of heading straight towards the ground like other peoples hair, our tight curls curl up and look shorter... especially at shorter lengths before you have the weight of long hair to stretch out the curls. I'm growing mine out though :) but I was just wondering aloud why we dont see many curly girl long hairs around...

It's so hard to find videos of curly girls with looong hair! I'm a curly girl growing out my hair and this was beautiful to watch. I guess a lot of curly girls just find it too hard. Our hair grows slow and tangles so easily. It really is pretty when long though. Looks so romantic and innocent
