Added Tip. To remove all the baby powder appearance give it a shot of air from a canned air duster kit. That way you dont have to repeat this process hoping not to show any bigger particles.

Hey this DEFINITELY works.

One thing to note, is that you want to be sure that the air pumping out of the bottle doesnt blow off the microscopic powder particles. hold back 5-7 inches. Works perfectly. Impressive.

Your idea sparked the one I had but, if I say so myself, mine is WAY easier.

Take your wife's/girlfriends/own makeup "foundation" brush (If you don't know what that is, ask a girl).

Don't add any additional product to the brush (from when it was used last) in fact, blow it off a little bit.

Then, just brush around gently on the inside of the Otter screen.

It will seem like nothing happened, but as the guy here says, it leaves a virtually invisible amount of powder.

Hey you wanna know how to fix this? Apply a screen protector. Yea, yea, you'll have two screen protectors, not a big deal, my iphone 3gs had this same problem, watermarks everywhere. Then I put on a screen protector, put the case on it, two screen protectors not a big deal. The iPhone recognizes my fingers without a problem. Please, don't use fucking powder on your phone. That's just idiotic. Double wrap it guys, double fucking wrap it.

I just used a ziplock bag and it worked great. Just pull it tight over your screen rip off the extra and put in back in the case worked great.

i was looking it up and you had to buy an adhesive screen protector . i thought of the word adhesive and thought adhesive tape. i didnt have any adhesive but had regular house tape and thought what can it hurt . i put the tape on the iphone and covered one area of it and pushed down . and kept doing it until the screen was completely kind of like filled with the adhesive i guess and then i did it on the screen part built on the otterbox . might need to do a couple of times but works . no waterma

I used a lint free lens cleaner disposable cloth and Old Spice Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant. Its a white deoderant stick, I damped the cloth lightly on the deodorant stick then evanly wiped the inside of the lense, and no water mark. Think about it, "ANTI-PRESPIRANT" so it repels moister. Its not a-b-s-o-l-u-t-e crystal clear as in alcohol and microfiber, but its not ugly smudge foggy or nothing like that to the naked eye-GOOD ENOUGH. No Water markes or Bubbles!!!!

I used a antistatic sheet for the dryer just wiped the phone and the membrane on the case. Fixed the watermark problem for me. Just one more thing to try.

It's not electrostatics, it's the grease from your fingers. Just use the same powder and cover both sides with thin layers. Let it stand for a while like that. Use soft brush/duster can to clean it up, then wipe/polish with your microfiber cloth - will work like new. No magic passes you do on the video necessary.

This worked great for me, except I had a little bit harder time.

I had already gotten a very expensive screen protector for it (invishield by zagg) so it took a ton more baby powder to work. I had to coat my phone and the otterbox for it to work. You can see the powder when its not lit, but its invisible when the screens lit so its a compromise. For me, anythings better than those watermarks
