  • ah may zing. these guys did well this year too at worlds.

  • Yaay this is my club <3 goo angels and two people on that team are my coaches now!

and although they arent doing insane stufff its cos australian cheer has different rules n im pretty sure they were one of the highest levels in aus then? but fit 2 cheer is slowly changing over to american style cheerleading.

  • what level did they compete againstt was it level 5

  • @amyfamous12 yes lvl 5

  • wat did they come

  • @amyfamous12 i think this was the year they came 1st, either 2007 or 2008

  • @amyfamous12 They came sixth coz i looked it up on googlee

  • i think that's the cleanest routine i've ever seen you stuck everything!!!!

well done n elizabethd90 i agree with the levels but honestly that was a pretty good routine.

how do they compare to cheer victoria in placings?? they're like the only aussie elite team i know that's all

  • the stunts were at level 5. Watch the other routines the stunts are all the same. And it was a clean and tight routinue. Elizabethd09 you've obviously never had the opportunity to compete at such an elite level

  • hmmm dunno how these guys got to worlds... that routine was not that great they had pretty simple stunts for the level they are at.

smileymontana1, australian cheer teams can do exactly the same stunts, dictated by levels, that american teams can do. the aascf rules are the same as the usasf and iasf rules which the worlds follow. just cuz we're australian doesn't mean we're not allowed to do hard stunts! if you go to worlds at level 5/ 6, ur following the same rules as the other countries!

  • what did they come? they only look like level 4 because they dont do what some other level 5 teams do like fulls and stuff they should learn them :)

they need more stunt sequils too. like heel stretch scorpion scale double down like level 5.

they also should have done a tuck after those double to touches.

but......... are we aloud to do all that stuff in australia cos if we were then they would do the tuck?

someone get back to me! i wanna know what we are and arent aloud to do :)

  • Congratulations to the Angels for bringing home 3 Golds from Nationals. Good on you guys.

  • Gah,

I've been looking absolutly EVERYWHERE for a cheer squad near where i live. Which is Perth.

does anyone know if there is a squad somewhere in the , woodvale/wanneroo/kingley area? You know, like around there preferablly like a 10-20 min drive.

I want to cheerlead so badly, and i've looked EVERYWHERE for a squad...

    please help somebody :(

  • Fit2Cheer in Kalamunda is where this team is from. Its the biggest in WA.

The phone number is 9275 3512

  • AusCheer is the official website which lists all the teams throughout Australia. You just need to click on which state you are from. I think it may still be under construction though

  • Fit2Cheer which the perth angels belongs to has just branched off into craigie leisure centre, so they have a north program running, you should give them a call :)

  • you guys are awesome:)I was at worlds that year and met a few people on your team haha

  • you have to have gymnastics/cheer background to be in the angels. otherwise theres royals and sapphires. The sapphires are lovely we compete against them at states. nice bunch of girls. theres four main cheer companys in perth that compete internationally

NRG Cheersports (my club) Fit 2 Cheer (these guys), Western Cheerleading and Starmites. Oh and DV8.

NRG Lightning loves you guys =)

  • Do you know if any of those perth clubs do recreational cheerleading for people with just a dance background? around 18?

Its impossible to find a web site for any of them!

  • lots of people dont have a cheer/gymnastics background that are at Fit2Cheer. It helps but i dont think is necessary. The boys generally dont have any experience and a lot of the girls started as dancers

  • I hardly think you can call Outlaws number 1

  • woofwoofwoof1234 what do you have against the outlaws? they are amazing a good squad to look up to as the perth angels are too!

  • I'm guessing your from Victoria?

Its just like footy, Im from WA so i go for my WA team, you go for yours!

  • " GO PERTH ANGELS "

    ur awesome :o)

im a flyer in The Western Cheerleading Dance Company

i hope to be as good as u 1 day :o)

  • The true pioneers of the sport. Thanks for being a great example of how great Australian cheer is. Clearly the best. The results prove it!

  • They are a great Aussie team - but have a look at the Australian Outlaws for number 1 ;-)

  • I like it cause they're pretty.

Stef is hotter than a Ferrari in Armadale.

  • bri is the besttt!!

kalamunda fit 2 cheer its a greattt club

  • erm yeh. thanx but i tried to call n no body answers. went on website but its unda construction or somefing...grr.... but anyways....yer did dey change phone no: or something?

  • yer the websites bin like that for a while,

the number hasnt changed just maybe try ringing at different hours coz thers not always people in the office. cheerleading is a great sport tho, so if ur interested definately try get in contact. you have to audition for competitive squads, but its not scary- everyones really nice!! good luck, xo

  • i tried callin dem liek a hundred times!...argh. i thought they moved or something....anyways, thanx...but still no answer.. wah :[

  • oh u hi.. do u noe when abts r da times that they r der?...thanx

  • hey, ummm would u know what you have to do to get on the perth angels cheer squad???? do u have to do tryouts nd stuff? if u know how old do ya have to be and what level do ya have to be?????? thanks they rock!!! :)

  • The Angels usually hold tryouts when they are looking for new memebers for their team. At the beginning of every year every memeber has to re try out for their squad as well. Generally people start at in the royals or sapphires and work their way up to Angels. You have to be old enough to travel to Worlds and things so 16 is probably the lowest. And they are level 5 so some tumble skills helps

  • how can i get into royals? wat is their competition level?

and wat age r most of them?

  • tryouts were 7th of Dec. But if you give them a call i'm sure you can go along to a training session. Depending on your skill level depends on what squad you will be in. I think they are level 4 and i think the oldest is 18

  • yer...where is it?...i wanna join.

  • Where in Perth is this Cheer located?? And do they have stuff for 13 year olds there??

  • Damn!! I didnt know we had cheerleaders like that in Perth...Sweet !! Just as impressive as the stuff off Bring It On... U go girls!! oh and guys!! my bad! i envy you dudes.. hahah

  • My baby is in this! Go alex from jollettes Impulse!

  • Grat Job Guys, watch out next year coz we might just get there too! we have a new squad in vic and we are ready for some action! going to be posting some new vids up soon of our progress as a country town cheer squad!

  • Go Aussie Cheerleaders! Great effort, good stuff putting Aussie cheer on the map!

  • thats for that
