Put her side by side with say someone like Amanda Palmer of the Dresden Dolls and see over rime and by action which one cultivat4es their music as far as one can by going a step further in being a more full and rounded human being by appreciating their patrons and not belittling or insulting them.. 10 to 20 years from now go ahead and act like Siouxsie Star Sioux -, but it's much to early to consign yourself to your artistic parapet.
Furthermore, Avril Lavigne is not imping and aping Siouxsie Sioux and Nina Hagen's vocal as well as lyrical stylings. And then tto chastise her fans for blogging, not knowing anything, and being kids without manners or social mores - and she is all of what 25 years old possibly? To be shunning fans and to be demeaning of them for wishing to connect with an artist they like and are still able (it's not like she's selling out huge stadiums) to have some modicum of interaction with.
