  • Much props to the guys that brought the slang ' Pig Latin ' to the rap game. NOT SNOOP....Fa Shizzle My Nizzle. Double Dutch Bus doesn't qualify.... unless you want to count Nipsy Russel as an MC. Lol

  • This was some of the great early hip hop, classic....

  • I remember those days. 8th grade dances @ HSF. That white kid was me for sure. Now I my kid dances and makes hip hop music. Good times... No drugs or Booz needed at these parties.

  • UTFO entrace 4:04 was classic !! This joint was slamming back-n-da-day!!

  • ♥

  • brings back great memories

  • Who made that comment about honkeys and niggas being in the same video? Lets be nice dumb motherfucka.

  • i fucking love this song, i bump it on my tables all the time, and in my car too. great thing about utfo is they actually break dance, what other breakin rappers actually dancing in their videos none

  • This video is so cheesy that it's good.

  • This is back before Hip Hop had a dress code. Great memories of Southwest Miami - 1984.

  • That entrance at 4:05 cant be beat!! Straight pimpin!!

  • Kadricer said it right, all the stuff he has listed I also had, used to get in clubs underage to break dance. awesome memories.

  • Yeah, thats back in the day when "honkeys and niggas" were in videos together. Hell what happened??????

  • THIS IS JUST LIKE MY OLD SCHOOL DANCES

  • Break out the Panasonic 10 " D " battery stereo with four " 6 inch midrange speakers with dual cassette player, Pumas, Parachute pants, and Kangols....Don't forget the slick floor to breakdance on.....1983-87 yrs was the height of it all ( I didn't forget " My Adidas " )....

  • And cardboard 2

  • Kangol is the father to E 40s style today.

  • Hey dude.I get where ya comin from. But with all due respect the group U.T.F.O. & Full Force sought them out! Aiight ?? And the two young brothas dancin' attended that school(V.C.S.)also. As for the "Fat Kid",..lol,well thats no kid. He's a grown ass man who was the building manager / B-Ball Coach of that school back in the day. I should know cuz I attended that school & "The Man" happens to be family to me. Thats justs how it was in videos then. Was humorous to me back then as it is today.

  • THEME: An all white school. And would'nt you know it, the "real" Black kids( read: at risk) are dancing to entertain their "classmates." But that wasn't enough, the school had to hire real Negroes to entertain. And the fattest kid in the school is Black. Do you see anything wrong with this picture? Any stereotypes? Class distinctions?

If you don't understand the point i'm trying to make chances are you were one of the white students.

  • Thank God that white kid showed up to show those black kids how to dance.

  • I remember when I first UTFO... I was like damn, these guys are the newskool sound! F'ing dope!!!! Ain't that a trip? Now it's like almost 25 years later! They deserve madd props!!!

  • I always played the dub version of this record at

  • having this on 12" must be the luxury overdose...i'd pay a little fortune for that! is it a instrumental, or a dub with cut in words?

  • a great video for a great jam!

    thanks for posting!

  • 'night flight' holy shit! u brought me bak right there!

Wasnt that the best show on the USA Network back in the day? I remember seeing White Lines , and I swear Larry Fishburne was in that video!

  • wow man whats up with hip hop and rap these days it sucks you have to go underground to find real hip hop but theres still nothing like the classics. this was probably made before i was born kind of sad bu the beats real nice

  • in the 80's hiphop music was such a positive force..now it's all greedy crap.

  • OMG!!!!!!!!!!! I havent seen that video for like twenty-three years!!!!?? That is...I never seen it before. Un-freaking believable!!!

    Great tune!!!

  • Holy fraking shit! I haven't heard this tune since I was a teenager! This tune along with PLANET ROCK were a significant part of my introduction to rap. Classic old school. I think this tune used to hold the record for longest time at #1 in the U.K. rap charts. My God; Why do we have to grow up? Why?

  • why indeed!! I hear ya!

  • UTFO is def. an old skool relic that only we would know of, they have faded away. But that makes it cool, kinda like an old Elvis album for our parents ya' know? Don't get me wrong UTFO is no comparison so don't kill me w/ the comments.

  • hey - your comparison is rigft on. differnet era so differant acts - but I can dig what your sayin!

  • the last verse by kangol kid was old school "NY dialect" not spoken much these days. I didn't know he was Haitian. I thought he was from "the South". UTFO was a talented group of cats; they could do it all, sing, dance, rap & play musical instruments--true HIP HOP (as only the EAST COAST can produce)!!

  • I love UTFO!

  • this jam is the biznizz , but can anyone tell me where i can get pickup the pace UTFO.

  • these is one of my favorite old school rap songs, thanks man ive been lokking everywhere for these, u rock

  • I remember this song, I use to play it loud in my room. Even breaking on the street corners. LOL:)

  • I remember when i was about 8 years old and my brother play this song in his room very loud.

Nice song brings back memory, oldschool the best!

  • THE BEST OLD SCHOOL RAP

  • "I'm a law abiding citizen I don't break the law..." Wow how the lyrical content has changed since then. I remember DMC bragging about going to collage too.

  • To jest super!! Słucham tego non stop!!beats and rhymes xD!! CZUJECIE TEN BEAT :D!?

    Awesome :p...

    P.S

    02.07 ummmmmmm :o

  • Damn!! I had no idea that Doc Ice could get down like that. Kangol, either.

  • They danced for whodini, check out freaks come out at night you will see them

  • Word? You must be an OG; and I thought I was an OG. I know that Doc Ice is Jalil's younger bro, but I never new that they danced for them.

  • Why did you tag this video?

    SMH

  • jammin'

  • Even though I'm on tha West this shit was cold flav back N the day. Love the sing song harmony ahead of their time. Full Force hooked them up with what was the tightest beats back then. NY get mad love for creatin the game and these boys took what RunDMC did and added their own element.

  • Aside from Run DMC Rock Box, this is the best RAP song EVA!!!!!!!!!!!

    This $hit flows!!!!!

  • ORLY?

  • damn, how did we go from this great hiphop dancing of the 80's, to the bullshit souljaboy dance of 2007, today.

  • i love the beats!!!!great music!!80s rules!!!

  • ....yesssss!!!!the best song of the first record....!!!ME ENCANTA..REALLY OLD SCHOOL!!!!

  • classic hip hop used to see this video on video music box in jersey city back in da day !!!

  • this is the real video?

  • No, this is some bootleg shit. Doc & Kangol were breakin' in the real one.

  • My favorite song off the record. Those were the days.

  • Oh, man, the Village Community School in New York! I went to its summer day camp way, way back in the days. A serious case of déjà vu! Peace.

  • These were the days!!! Love the beats!

  • best junior high dance... ever

  • thats F R E S H !!! ..........lol

  • BOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!

I remember seeing this vid on USA's "Night Flight" back in the day. Had it on tape and never thought I'd see it again.

    The internet is good.

  • 'night flight' holy shit! u brought me bak right there!

  • Oh cool. I remember this. Heck I still have this one tape

  • LET ME KNOW IF U GOT the real roxanne

  • Ahhh yeah! I remember this vid way back in the day. I thought those moves were so crazy to do. I was too young to buy a tape of U.T.F.O. so I'd listen to it on the radio and "dub" it from there...including the commercial breaks and the DJ talking. Haha, so ghetto back then. Memories.

  • omg thats ridiculous those moves are crazy.

  • xD he got served!!

  • u.t.f.o released a wicked track called " hanging out" which i brought in new york , does anybody know if it had a music video

  • Nah, this video (I think this is their first video since Educated Rapper was'nt in this), "Roxanne Roxanne", and "Leader Of The Pack were the only videos from their debut album. Not too long ago, I found out that Kangol Kid is from a Haitian decent. I during his childhood and the height of UTFO's career, he kept that a secret cause he said that "it was'nt cool back in the day."

  • NEVER SAW THIS!!!!

  • I keep forgetting that U.T.F.O. were b-boys originally.

  • Fuckin' dope.

  • oh shit, Beans and Rice !

  • Whatup! Kang and Doc!
