the Sc 10 is the better of the trucks for racing, We race on tight, and open clay tracks also race flat track onroad with them and speedway 99%of the time the Sc 10 wins. most of the Drivers are running between 13.5T and 4.5T motors in them. down side is the sc10 burns it's rear tyers quicker then most other trucks. most of us are racing 10-12 time a month, What do i do with 11 sets of tyers that are used up from the start of the year?
the sc10 is more for professional racing...therefor it is not ment to take the beating as a slash or a blitz durring "bashing" but the sc10 does handle wayy better on the track, and is way lighter, and pretty quick out of the box, so if you wunna bash, go with the slash, for track, go sc10, but the blitz is okay i guess..it would go under the bashing catagory...and the blitz is a little cheaper in price.but the parts are really high...the sc10 and slash are a wee bit more..n easier to come by :)
The Slash is a more durable, beefier truck. It rides higher for more clearance and terrain maneuvering. I have one, It was GREAT to learn on , as its alot less prone to breaking BUT im comparison to sc10's and blitz on the track it simply will not handle as well. Im waiting for the Blitz ESE to come out and i will buying that . It handles better and out of the box hopped up . Blitz are better in my opinion all the way around. Unless your a strickly bashing person.
man ive been wanting to get into the sc world for quite a bit. how long till they offer this in a kit or brushless form? this thing screams sick. imo better than the sc10 sweet truck. cant decide between this and the slash 4x4 unfortunately i think if i got the 4x4 it would be another year till we see any kind of race class for the 4wd trucks :(
yea im not sure. I sure hope that 4wd catches on really fast because yes the sc10 and the blitz are nice but they are not race trucks now granted in mused to buy the matt francis or g+ version side of things and maybe thats not how sc wants to do things perhaps its designed as a fun everyone can enjoy it class. but the new 4wd trucks are full race from the factory. and I am having a hard time deciding between the hyper and the slash.

Not sure which is best but I am banking on the Blitz. The truck was really impressive looking each time i have seen it run. Once it is released and we get some good setups rolling i think it will 1:1 as good as the SC10, hoping better.

Blitz are cool but in opinion I would prefer racing SC10s.
