  • Very sweet! Enjoyed your musings - sound like me gushing! I'm just back from a sneak preview - perhaps harder attained than the MR bridge access - at Bogus Thunder, which blew me away!

  • That's my favorite area of the American River Tributaries. As soon as you leave Foresthill on Mosquito Ridge, you are in paradise, and the farther you explore, the more beautiful it gets. Kudos for picking up trash there. So many slobs don't care about the beauty.

  • Stay away from our river cityiot

  • I've smoked many joints under that bride....thats one of the best motorcycle roads ever!

  • Great colors love the area, picking up trash is awesome than you so much. Many people will not even take the initiative.

  • Beautiful! I'll put it on my list for next summer. Thanks for sharing.

  • Mainly during mountain biking, I've seen bears, foxes, tarantuala's, lots of snakes, and had an encounter w/a cougar. It's a beautiful area! LOVE IT here!

  • If I had known how beautiful it was there I would have visited and hiked around a bit while I lived in Foresthill. I lived in Foresthill for a couple of years. Have you ever run into bears or mountain lions while hiking? If so what did you do? What do you do to keep safe while hiking like that?

  • @yesiamanalien Bears are not the problem but the cats you may want to watch out for but even then if they have no cubs then your probably good to go. Just bring a compress blow horn that will scar them off.
