As a child do to the incompetence of the medical profession, I developed a phobia of needles which essentially ruined the rest of my life. I can see something like this doing much the same to other kids.

I just had mine today, I asked for a mirror to see my back, and then I was like "oh.. is that bad nurse". And she was like yeah pretty much haha. It turns out im allergic to cats ( i used to have 2 cats for 3 years, never sneezed or coughed around them strange..) and im allergic to eggs, pollens, blue grass. After years of allergy shots starting in 1967 (with no results) I started to try alternative methods. I did liver cleanses (which helped some) and learned a lot about how the body produces histamines, and also the connection between the brain, body and the flow of energy. man, i did this when i was little, found out that i was allergic to olives, corn, and mold. but i eat olives and corn, and nothing happened

.....and im allergic to some foods and many presevatives and mae up and purfume and hair removal creams, and gold and some washing powder, and basically anything perfumed, and most soaps unless they are orgainic and perfume free made from goats milk. oh and i have eczema so i want to go for an allergy test but it will hurt and i know it so i dont want to go

yeh but he wasnt severly allergic to anything i am allergic to HEAPS of stuff, have never gotten an allergy test but people i know have and they said it hurt like hell if u are allergic to something, but i am allergic to many many plants and if i run into them by accident i get red bumps and swelling and if i breath the pollen in i get asthma attacks bad enough for hospitilisation and i live near the bush that has like all the plants i am allergic to in it,

I have had ezcema all my life ( 17 years ) and recently its become REALLY BAD. im sat here coverd in a nasty rash all over my body. Nothing helps and ive ended up in tears so many times in the past few days.

Its wierd because my ezcema was under controll for ages until the other week. im allergic to most things as i have sensitive skin but it would help SO MUCH to be able to pin point the triggers. How much did this test help you ?

i had one and the tooth pick thingies were atached to this thing so the doctor put them all on at the same time not one by one and ya it hurt a little bit but not bad the only one that hurt bad was the one that was supposed to hurt

The skin tests are no longer painful pricks. My 1 year old was laughing during her testing.

I had this done when I was a child. I remember that it DID hurt and I didn't know that it was coming. Just continuous pokes onto your back.

If you're taking your child in for allergy tests, explain them the procedure. Don't let it be a shock.

Yeah it probably dosent hurt if your not allergic, but if you are the whole back swells up and hurts. Also you cant touch it even though it itches 100 time more than the itchiest thing you can imagine. NOT FUN!

i know right i almost cried i had a couple things AND IT HURT AND ITCHED WICKED BAD!
