  • Jimmy Carter what a disappointment. He said the other night(Nov.2010) that not a single person died at the hands of a US Soldier while he was President. He neglected to add that incident where 4 Helicopters that were to rescue the Iranian Hostages were destroyed along with every one inside. The Country was a miserable wreck when he left office

  • @Dremple The soldiers died in an accident. That's a lot different from having to go to war. Of course Carter could have bombed Tehran and won re-election, but then the hostages would have been killed. Instead they all came home alive. I think that's the point. The country was in bad shape because of a worldwide recession that started in the early 70's. It pulled out of it in the early 80's because Carter was smart enough to appoint Paul Volker to the Fed Reserve.

  • @suwanee4712 ACCIDENT! I suppose we are going to go down the DEMOCRAT Road and BLAME someone else...was BUSHES fault right? lol Geesh Wizz It WASN"T Carters fault for the Economy, but the same couldn't Possibly be said for President Bush and Obama. Dont you see it? Look at old Debates, and Senate Coverage..Blame is a Strategy.

  • @Dremple Not sure what Obama nor Bush have to do with this. I'm not a Democrat. I call it like I see it. We know so much more now than what we did back then. Carter was a convenient scapegoat for Reagan and he also threw Ford and Nixon under the bus too which is why all 3 disliked him. All presidents have triumphs and failures - there's not a single one that doesn't have both. BTW, Carter took responsibility for the rescue attempt. At least he wasn't making secret deals with terrorists.

  • Respond to this video... The Prestige Dropped more when he got the prize, than it did when Yassir Arifat recieved it later...Yassir was less, ..Abrasive?!lol

Nobel Peace prize,(even Al GOre-who got one using fake and fraudulent data);20 plus million Africans ae alive today because of George W Bush Policy on Aids and malaria and aid for that continent. no Kudos, just job done right.

  • @Dremple And Carter is responsible for eradicating two diseases in Africa, building homes for the homeless, and teaching poor farmers how to feed their families. Because of Carter's human rights policy and publicly naming dissidents, the Soviets were forced to not simply make them disappear. Because of Carter, there hasn't been war between Egypt and Israel in the last 30 years. Which is saying something considering how many times they were at war the previous 10 years.. Nobel worthy? Yeah.

  • Jimmy Carter what a disappointment.

  • What the fuck did I just watch?

  • This never happened. It was speculative journalism.

  • Republicans have always spied on their political opposition. It began before Watergate. The current warrantless wiretapping program began BEFORE 9-11 and was aimed at their political opposition, not "terrorists". Throw election hacking into the mix, and you start to see just why the Republican party has been the enemy of freedom and democracy, even though they claim to be the patriotic party.

  • that's bullshit.

  • Yea it is. But if its repeated enough times dumb asses will believe it.
