What does it mean by "Tape Optimizer" in other words what is it?

@live4marilyn its a device in old VHS recorders that recognises the type of tape and adjusts accordingly.

Yes, but the stress of the edit suite pit was somewhat alleviated by using the time of 'rendering' the material profitably by sitting in The Hope
