Proof positive that humankind in general does not deserve this wonderful planet we were gifted with. Truly a sad commentary on humanity, that we allow such horrendous atrocoties to occur in the first place, then we allow them to be covered up. Unit 731 committed a terrible crime, but history is history and we should derive lessons from it and not blame the people living in Japan now.

Japan has never accepted guilt for its war crimes and its school texts are a revolting exercise in revisionism. The US wasn't interested in prosecuting too many war criminals however, as the USSR was seen as the main threat by 1945. They cynically gave Ishii Shiro immunity to continue his work in America and covered up Unit 731s crimes. People too readily believe their governments' claims to act from motives of justice and decency rather than the reality - self interest of their ruling elites.

(Part6) nine victims were found buried near a railroad line. It seems that Chinese army tried to destroy evidence. Another victim was found on May 6 but two male victims remained missing. These victims were carried to Jinan Hospital, which was located inside the safety line, and were autopsied with the presence of Japanese military officers, policemen, and Chinese representatives (maybe singular as Japanese lacks grammatical number).
