I love Mastodon, and especially "Blood Mountain", but why are so many of the videos kinda podunk? I'm not complaining really, as I'd like to think that most music out there would be better if it wasn't produced in such a marketing-kinda-way that videos epitomize... I'm just saying, it's a bit incongruous for Mastodon to produce such awesome and complex songs, but for the videos to have simplistic plots and/or low-quality CG/blue-screen technology... Whatever. Mastodon, keep up making your music!

@Riq3000 I love both Mastodon and Tool. Two of my favorite bands. But I will have to say Tool takes the cake with the videos. Mastodon's are more of a fun watch, while Tool's videos are disturbing, moving, and really mind-bending. I think it's because they have a guitarist who has a background in film and art.

@Clike666ness I don't hate him. I don't know him. I do know that there are songs Metallica can't play live (e.g. Dyer's Eve) because Lars can't do it. I do know that when there isn't a ton of editing on their records, Lars sounds like a 14-year-old kid. I do know that when watching "Some Kind of Monster", and upon James' return, the "riff" James plays is half-hearted at best, and when Lars attempts to join in, I almost vomit in my mouth. I love Metallica (pre-1992) but they need to retire.
