You have a beautiful family. My grandfather had 11 childs, from his first marriage, 8 from his second lol. However, you should teach your kids to have less kids. Earth is becoming overpopulated, and you don't want your grand-grand children to fight over a bottle of clean water. I know it's not a nice tought, but "act small, think big" is my motto ! good luck with your family.
I don't know how people could think someone is bad because there mormon. We are all made in Gods image just remember that people! How we worship him is not a reason to judge people, as long as you worship! P.S. I'm a BAPTIST so I guess that makes me "good".
thes very cute.. I have to keep my slef from replying to those comments saying we r bad people when we are absolutly not bad we r just like everyone else! God loves everyone no matter what no matter what i do my god loves me anyway:)
Some of these comments come from people who seem to think that Mormons are crazy. But we really aren't that different. I'm a normal teen who loves God and loves this beautiful life He gave me. I worship Christ and will continue to try to become more like Him. And I want to note that one of the most important aspects of becoming more like God is to learn love ALL of His children, regardless of religion or situation in life. People are people. jennacarson.blogspot.com
I'm a christian, and I dont really know anything about mormons. But a couple years ago when I was in 11th grade I was good friends with a girl that was mormon, and she was really nice.
@NikkiandAnthony go to mormon.org to learn from the source if your curious. Don't believe all that loony stuff that some preachers spread around. Mormons are Christians, we have a couple of unique things, but if you look at the right sources and find the truth it is all logical even if you don't agree with it.
Wow, what an amazing family you have, you should be extremely proud to have raised such beautiful children, they look like they're gonna be wonderful memebers of society, which is more that i can say for most people who have 2 children the most, don't let anyone tell you you have too many children because i'm willing to bet, their children can't hold a candle to yours :P
by the way...I'm not an atheist or non-religious if that's what your thinking. I am a born-again Christian and know extensively about the Mormon faith.
@MissDtheoneandonly Oh great, I love it when people "know all about my beliefs" especially when they begin to tell me what my beliefs "really are" and what Mormons "really believe". It is like they believe their preacher more than an actual practitioner of the religion.
I'm Unitarian, not Mormon, but I also have a large family. I love this video and the song you picked. Having a large family is wonderful and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Mormons aren't exactly "good people" if they're changing God's Word. I don't think a hairy guy who found a "tablet" from some angel means its ok to change the Bible its honestly just stupid.
Maybe you need to meet a few Mormons, and decide for yourself if they are good people. It sounds like you probably don't know much about them other than gossip and rumors. Maybe if you got to know a few real well, you'd decide they weren't that bad after all. I think it's always a good idea to get to know someone when you feel the need to sterotype or judge. Being a christian, I'm sure you know that is what Christ often did.
@100Wildfire maybe you need to learn this little thing called "religious tolerance." it's this strange concept where people can be open and peaceful about their religious beliefs and preferences and not have trolls like you telling them they're not good people.
@100Wildfire maybe you need to learn this little thing called "religious tolerance." It's this crazy concept where people can actually express their religious beliefs in a civil manner without crazies like you telling them they're not good people.
Good for y'all! We're having our fourth this December, and I hope we're not done. I wish more Mormons (we're LDS too) would quit being selfish and have more kids.
This video is really inspiring, I listen to it regularly whenever I need a pick-me-up or a mood-lifter. This is the kind of family I dream of having when I get older. I'm LDS too, and your family is a great example. So thanks!! :)
im actually jewish but i really enjoy this video and the song you picked! i applaud your being proud of your religion and who you are and honoring those things! congrats!
@gotmilk116 Thank you for your response. It says a lot about your character and how good of a person you are. You literally put me in a better mood today. Cheers
One of the reasons I decided not to move to Utah was the population demographics. I like my freedom as well as peace and quiet. I don't want to move to an area that is swarming with overdevelopment and subdivisions being built everywhere. The West is running out of water and will not be able to support very many more people than it already has. YOU CAN HAVE your overcrowded Salt Lake Valley along with your future water shortage problems.
I thought most Mormons either live in Utah, Idaho, Arizona, or Wyoming?
Regardless, the western part of the country can not continue to grow much more in population given the water constraints that it faces. Read the book "Cadillac Desert" for more info on water issues in the WEST.
Wow post a video of your children whom you have doomed to eternal fire. You have taught them to Worship a Loony Scam Artist from the 1830s. If you want to teach your children to Follow an Anti Christ and the son of The Whore of Babylon be my guest, but people do not wish to see innocence tainted by the temptings of the devil. When judgement day comes Your "Prophet" Joseph Smith will not save you neither will your "Angel" Macaroni. The only way to heaven is thru Christ Lord and Savior.
I, like you, believe that Christ is the only was to heaven. I wonder though, how One so full of love might react, when He hears people use His name to justify hate and envy toward others. I hope that when I and my family finally look into his eyes, we can know inside, as He will, that instead of spreading hate, we shared His love as much as we could, with those around us.
"The only way to heaven is thru Christ Lord and Savior." Wow, so the fact that our church is called 'The Church Of JESUS CHRIST Of Latter Day Saints' basically means that we are all a bunch of Satan worshipers?! I have always been an extremely open minded person and I always put myself in other peoples shoes, so there isn't much that shocks me or angers me, but I can't help but get mad when people like you make comments like that. Tbh, why are you here in the first place if you hate us so much??
thank you for furthering the overpopulation of our planet. Your outlook on life is so selfish and isolated, its a joke. I hope your children were born smarter than you and leave the church.
Wow, to follow on from the comment that thecatintheshoes made. I dont see how having 8 kids makes anyone selfish, as long as they are looked after. Sadly we dont see this happening much in the world we live in today! Dont make negative commants about peeps you know nothing about is my advice to you thecatintheshoes.
May God bless you and your beautiful family. I truly admire you for this especially since I feel God calling me to have a large family as well. Seeing this shows me the great beauty in His call.
Your kids are way cute! I love the song and I totally get what it is saying. Mormons and their big families and beliefs are not always "cool" but we really don't care because we cool are in God's eyes and it really does not matter what the world says. I hope what I am saying makes sence. Have fun with your amazing cute family!
I don't really know when having a large loving family stopped being the norm, and I'm only 28. I am facing problems having kids so God bless large families. I am the youngest of 6.
People should understand when the bible said to "Be fruitful and multiply", the earth was barren and there was no other people living on it. Now, there are chidren starving in our own back yards and 3rd world nations. I don't think that God would want this to contiue whilr millions of his children are already dying everyday and are neglected. I could be wrong, it's just my opinion. I only wish more people would adopt the children we have now, in need of a home.
@xoxoixoxo Quiverful is a word the media made up for people with lots of kids, i think its used more for Christians. But familys with lots of kids that are Christians(my familt included, theres 11 of us) aint like I"m a quiverful.A reporter awhile back wrote about our family and said we were apart of a growing groups of quiverfuls, even though we'd never heard the term before. So to answer your questionthey are quiverful if you go by the deff. of lots of kids...hope that answered your question
I love your family! I've always wanted to have a big family, and i love the responses to stupid posts! You completely erase the anger from the situation! Thanks for being a great example!
You are thoughtful, insightful, and bring the Spirit to every comment you have responded to - positive or negative. I am so impressed with you and your family. You are cool in my book.
Wow you people are pigs the mormons are such pigs, they have been in this long time competition with the Catholic Church since the first day the prophet of satan joseph smith got visited by satan, you people are so jealous of the Catholics that you think you have big families? Uh yeah I grew up in a Catholic family of 16 kids, my wife grew up in a Catholic family of 9 kids, 1.5 Billion Catholics to the 13 million satanic mormon members..if you haven't caught up to us in 150yrs you'll never catch
KID AFTER KID AFTER KID AFTER KID isn't healthy for the world. Whether they're Catholic, Muslim, Mormon, Jewish, whatever. Overpopulation is becoming inevitable. I, btw, am Catholic and think it is best to keep to 2 children max.
I am NOT religous I have 7 sisters, 4 brothers. My husband is the youngest of 7 we have 5 children. I LOVE our large family and wouldn't have it any other way!!!
Why of course you can! I can't imagine anyone thinking that you have to be Mormon to have a big family or to love your children. My faith teaches me that God loves all his children and wants all parents to pass that love on to their kids. It only makes sense to me.
1) My children are the greatest source of happiness in the world. They are not something I did because I thought someone ordered me to have them.
2) That being said, what other biblical principals do you believe are outdated? Love thy neighbor? Thou shalt not kill?
God's commandments are not arbitrary rules instituted to take away our freedom. They are milestones outlining a path to happiness in this life and in the next. My family is a great example.
Thanks for your answer. I kept on writing thinking I was not sending it right maybe it has something to do with the time difference. So if you get more similar comments it has to do with that. Take care.
Nice happy family video with great soundtrack. I'm not religious but I respect religious believers and non-believers.Where I live in Europe there are also non-believers with many kids and believers with none or few. One should respect each others choises and talents because some are but others are not able to raise well many kids. What matters in society is doing what we are good at, don't you agree? Thanks for sharing your family photographs.
Cute family video indeed. Most fans seem to be mormon and some believing the country should have more. One thinks they have beter life standards!? It's not your fault what enthousiastic people comment but I'm sure you know there are enough small or large, beautiful(even with handicaps) happy families besides mormons. What counts is not the religion but how good one is. I've found another cute family video from another religion if you want to watch.
I love that video! I have seen it and it is great.
I do not look down on anyone for having more or less children than I do. I am just sharing how wonderful having a large family has been for us. In a time when I think large families can be disparaged a little, I think this is a great message to share.
Hey! Love it! I wish that I was born into a big family! It is no fun just having one other sibbling, almost feel weird when I go to church! I hope to have a large family when I am older, and have moments just like in the video! Love it! Enjoy every moment you have! ^_^
gracias hermano (o hermana?)
I love this video. It's nice to have a big family like yours. I can see how much joy you have in raising these wonderful children. I love the music too. What's the title of the song?
He is not, but if you look at Jericho Road's most recent album, he wrote most of their songs on that CD. His music all has a great message and I think he is one of Christian music's best kept secrets.
Wished you were in New Jersey...I'd babysit those cutie-patooties any time!!You are SO blessed...and so are your beautiful children to have parents who celebrate them, and not see the kids as "economic millstones". Nowadays, some people look at you crosseyed if you have a large family...THEY'RE the poorer for it. Life will always be "interesting" every minute with such a brood as yours.Good health and thanks for sharing with us!! Kisses to all you kids!!
That is one of the cutest videos I have ever seen. Such a cute family and so great to see parents who actually welcome and love all of their kids unconditionally! Thanks for posting this for the world to see a great example of faith and love. I am from a LDS family and appreciate wholesome attitudes.
i never comment, but this is the best video i've ever seen, hands down. it makes me feel great to be from a big mormon family. thank you thank you for making my day!
Oh my Goodness! I was jsut reminded on why I want a big family now. I'm in a Student/Singles Ward...and am "waiting" for an Elder in Hawaii. Your family is beautiful! Keep The Faith.
Okay--I cried! I'm empty nesting, but my son just adopted his wife's 5-year old; so I'm suddenly Grandma. Here's the question: Where did you get that waterslide? I need one now. Your video is great, but the best part was the music.
lolz, ur family is funny, wat ward are u in?! im in Hilltop 1st. loved the vids of ur kids! they are so cute and holy and innocent! luved ur babies litle funny smile. luved the pic of ur "family tree" lolz
Hey man, Love the video. Your kids are sooo funny. I love it. I also recognize that Gracie Championships shirt your boy had on. Anyway, you're living a blessed life by anyone's standards. See you at Jiu-Jitsu Sensei. HAHAHA, I called you Sensei.
We are expecting our 8th child right now. We will have four girls and four boys. The song is great and Scott Krippayne is one of the best kept secrets in christian music. This song made is big for a while, but he's got a bunch that should be huge.
Do you think it's fair to raise your children with these views from birth? They never get a choice about what to believe. They will never get a balanced look into what else is out there. Is that fair?
I have to ask, what views? The view that no matter what anyone else says, God loves them? The view that family is the greatest? The view that being kind to others is more important than being rich or famous? That no matter what happens, they are the most beautiful thing in the world to me and to a loving God? If so, then yes, I think it is more than fair to expose them to these views from birth.
You can probably tell I don't subscribe to population control, but I respect others' right to disagree with me. I do not try to legislate a minimum family size or harrass those who have no children or only one or two. I just hope they will extend the same respect to me.
"i'm not cool but that's okay, my dad loves me anyway.." reminds me of my dad. he has long been gone but i know that he loves me in anyway and that i'll see him again in some future time. thanks for this video. the kids are especially adorable. i'm the only member of the church in my family but somehow, this video kinda gives me the strength to go on hoping that someday, i'll have my own mormon family..thanks!
Great, upbeat, happy... some people get bogged down on the work and constrictions of family life. This is a great reminder that it can be joyous and fun!
All of your and your wife's kids will grow up to be wondelful kids!! Your family is so special in every way..I'm not mormon or anything..but I hope I have a family as wonderful as yours!!
Wonderful Video!! You have a beautiful Family! Thanks for sharing it with all us Youtube fans. I hope to have a big family, myself one day. But for now...I'm going to serve a mission in a couple months. God Bless you!
You have a beautiful family. My grandfather had 11 childs, from his first marriage, 8 from his second lol. However, you should teach your kids to have less kids.

Deadlytrick 3 years ago
Having eight kids certainly isn't for everyone; but it was for us.
I respect your decision; and I hope you respect mine.

Luckily you can have a beautiful family with lots of love and not be Mormon.
divinegoddessartemis 3 years ago
Why of course you can! I can't imagine anyone thinking that you have to be Mormon to have a big family or to love your children. My faith teaches me that God loves all his children and wants all parents to pass that love on to their kids. It only makes sense to me.

Thank you for sharing. May I say:

Best of luck!

anyway, you have a great family, no matter your or mine religion.

gracias hermano (o hermana?)

Do you think it's fair to raise your children with these views from birth? They never get a choice about what to believe. They will never get a balanced look into what else is out there. Is that fair?
ahnuuld 4 years ago
I have to ask, what views? The view that no matter what anyone else says, God loves them? The view that family is the greatest? The view that being kind to others is more important than being rich or famous? That no matter what happens, they are the most beautiful thing in the world to me and to a loving God? If so, then yes, I think it is more than fair to expose them to these views from birth.

What do you think about population control? Do you have plans for any more kids?
imaginenoreligion 4 years ago
Hey Imagine:
You can probably tell I don't subscribe to population control, but I respect others' right to disagree with me. I do not try to legislate a minimum family size or harrass those who have no children or only one or two. I just hope they will extend the same respect to me.
