Earth is becoming overpopulated, and you don't want your grand-grand children to fight over a bottle of clean water. Mormons are Christians, we have a couple of unique things, but if you look at the right sources and find the truth it is all logical even if you don't agree with it.

Maybe you need to meet a few Mormons, and decide for yourself if they are good people. It sounds like you probably don't know much about them other than gossip and rumors. Maybe if you got to know a few real well, you'd decide they weren't that bad after all. I think it's always a good idea to get to know someone when you feel the need to sterotype or judge. Being a christian, I'm sure you know that is what Christ often did.

One of the reasons I decided not to move to Utah was the population demographics. I like my freedom as well as peace and quiet. I don't want to move to an area that is swarming with overdevelopment and subdivisions being built everywhere. The West is running out of water and will not be able to support very many more people than it already has. People should understand when the bible said to "Be fruitful and multiply", the earth was barren and there was no other people living on it. Now, there are chidren starving in our own back yards and 3rd world nations. I don't think that God would want this to contiue whilr millions of his children are already dying everyday and are neglected. I could be wrong, it's just my opinion. But familys with lots of kids that are Christians(my familt included, theres 11 of us) aint like I"m a quiverful.A reporter awhile back wrote about our family and said we were apart of a growing groups of quiverfuls, even though we'd never heard the term before. 1) My children are the greatest source of happiness in the world. They are not something I did because I thought someone ordered me to have them.

2) That being said, what other biblical principals do you believe are outdated? Love thy neighbor? Thou shalt not kill?

God's commandments are not arbitrary rules instituted to take away our freedom. They are milestones outlining a path to happiness in this life and in the next. My family is a great example.

I'm not religious but I respect religious believers and non-believers.Where I live in Europe there are also non-believers with many kids and believers with none or few. One should respect each others choises and talents because some are but others are not able to raise well many kids. What matters in society is doing what we are good at, don't you agree?
