I used to windsurf and having a bunch of guys coming in and lining up waves from 2 miles out to sea, it was easy to keep out of each others way, but surfing is just too packed now.

not all hawaiin breaks are like this. some are very friendly. surfing to me is a lifestyle and one of the greatest thing avalable to humans. not alot of things are better then hittin some bowls on a tropical beach and then paddle out and getting shacked with a couple friends
The "Haoles" introduced the modern surfboard to Hawaii , are the first to surf places like Waimea and Pipe ( breaking the Taboo ) , and bring about professional surfing (with lucrative incomes).. Who deserves respect ?.

respect is something that is earned and not something that is given! Only gang members and ex-cons demand respect and then shoot you if you don't listen.. Waves are an unlimited resource and who ever is in position has right of way. Just because you were born on the Island doesn't mean everyone else deserves to be treated like a second class citizen and be forced to sit in the "back of the bus!"

not all hawaiin breaks are like this. some are very friendly. surfing to me is a lifestyle and one of the greatest thing avalable to humans. not alot of things are better then hittin some bowls on a tropical beach and then paddle out and getting shacked with a couple friends

The "Haoles" introduced the modern surfboard to Hawaii , are the first to surf places like Waimea and Pipe ( breaking the Taboo ) , and bring about professional surfing (with lucrative incomes).. Who deserves respect ?.
