excellent walk through! even though i have probably one of the largest steel target makers down the road, it lools like the evil roy is the way to go for me. Question for anyone : how is the ring noise of the steel on the evil roy stand at long range, say 500-600, with 223/308?

Just received my first Evil Roy a few days ago. Took about 2 weeks to get to me, kind of a long haul, but well worth the wait when I got it. Took it out the same day, and ran 200 rounds of .45 ACP on it from 10, 15, 20 and 30 yard distances.
I LOVE IT! I do recommend though, not to get the %40 IPSC head, you'll be better off with the 8X12 rectangular plate... The mini IPSC is rather small....

I have been looking for some metal targets for some time and decided to go with these guy's after seeing this. I bought the evil roy and the movable multi target 22LR tree. nice vid been meaning to ask you about your targets. How do you set up your stands with paper target stands. I live in KS so like you we get 20-60 mph wind all time so my stand don't stay up very good in the wind. how did u make your wood stands

Love your video's. Just reminds me how shitty our freedoms are in Canada. Taking out a knife like any of your in public would have a good change of getting the second degree from a cop. We have no right to carry anything like a knife for self protection, let alone a gun or pepper spray. Yeah that right we are royally screwed.
I bought action target with 8 inch circle and a 6 inch plate. They are such high quality and the nutnfancy discount helped. I just bought a new siloutte to change out the circles, they work so great such quality its worth the money. The targets never fall over when being shot or by wind. Tim-AZ

just wondering what happens to a 9 mil FMJ bullet when it hits a AR 500 steel target at a distance of seven yards? I am new to target shooting, and it seems really close.

Bought an Evil Roy practice target a while back, and I luv it!! IMO it's the best portable steel target system I've seen. I have been using it for a little over a year now and the target plate is still smooth like new. I've only used handguns and pistol caliber carbines w/ it, so I don't know if it will stand up to rifles, A Co. rep called me after my purchase to field any questions I might have. Great product, great customer service, I'm a customer for life.

Great video. I thought I'd share an idea that you might find interesting. I have less experience shooting steel plates, but it could be interesting to lay down a kevlar (used material perhaps cheaper) mat below the front of the target to catch bullets. It might reduce the environmental impact of shooting on public lands. Just a thought; keep up the great work!

I've always liked Nutn's outdoor adventures with his dog so I'm watching the recent "glacier call" vid with my 11 year old son when after the third fart on camera and the juvenile laughter my son turns to me and says "pretty stupid". We turn to the main page and I click on this video and hear more anal references and my son looks at me with a look of disgust and bewilderment. What's really telling is that nutn had the opportunity to edit this stuff out and CHOSE to keep it in! Lost me forever!

@darkalexhk Always armed because sadly thats the world that we live in. You never know when you are going to have to defend your own life, or another innocent persons life from the acts of lunatic with nothing to lose. There is alot of un-provoked violence that happense and I'd rather be prepared for it. Some will call it being paranoid but you know what...."Only the paranoid survive" Proactive instead of reactive.
I find it kinda funny how he carries and has multiple knives. Really, is that necessary? Nut is not in the woods, or hiking, or anything. It makes no sense why a person should carry that much. Lets talk realistically here. If someone did charge nut to rob him, he would probably pull his pistol, and the aggressor would back off. I know he is in the military, and I commend him for that, but that doesn't mean you walk around with a ton of weapons acting like hes in a war zone in the usa.

Nutn is very free about letting people use his vids in a positive way..but we've had "YouTube" incidences in which his videos were basically used in blatant violation of the TOS of Youtube and the copyright. The opening sequence was edited very well! You should set up some "copy and paste" intros for certain things, like a 3 second blip for each dude you bring along, just so you do not need to re-introduce them all the time.
I would have to concour a zombie target would rule. And I for one would love to see a part 2 to this video. I am extreemly interested how they make the larger ranges.

Actually there are standards which say how big an industry is based on the number of employes and/or automated (robotic) machines they are using in the production proces (not based on how big is the place irself)

I like the "static targets" if I have a dedicated practicing field. Also targets you can fold and take with you are awesome for sporadic practicing places and for dedicated fields so you can add more variables to your shooting practice.
BTW thanks for taking us to the Industry, to the company and to the manufacturing process .. great educational and formational experiences. Best leaders are taken to places like this during their learining years.

I am always armed (gun, knife, non lethal option) and I always carry a flashlight BUT that's not because I want to be protected or feel safe.
My biggest fear is to meet Nutnfancy in the street and have him doing a weapon check on me and not have any weapon on me that day.
No way im gonna look like a fool on camera.

just wondering what happens to a 9 mil FMJ bullet when it hits a AR 500 steel target at a distance of seven yards? I am new to target shooting, and it seems really close.

Bought an Evil Roy practice target a while back, and I luv it!! IMO it's the best portable steel target system I've seen. I have been using it for a little over a year now and the target plate is still smooth like new. I've only used handguns and pistol caliber carbines w/ it, so I don't know if it will stand up to rifles, A Co. rep called me after my purchase to field any questions I might have. Great product, great customer service, I'm a customer for life.

Great video. I thought I'd share an idea that you might find interesting. I have less experience shooting steel plates, but it could be interesting to lay down a kevlar (used material perhaps cheaper) mat below the front of the target to catch bullets. It might reduce the environmental impact of shooting on public lands. Just a thought; keep up the great work!

I've always liked Nutn's outdoor adventures with his dog so I'm watching the recent "glacier call" vid with my 11 year old son when after the third fart on camera and the juvenile laughter my son turns to me and says "pretty stupid". We turn to the main page and I click on this video and hear more anal references and my son looks at me with a look of disgust and bewilderment. What's really telling is that nutn had the opportunity to edit this stuff out and CHOSE to keep it in! Lost me forever!

i have to side with PFI and sadly on this one lol i know its good to get in the habit of carrying your firearm and everything but (and i could be wrong) theres probably multiple people there with firearms, and id love to met the person thats going to run into a place called action target lol, and besides if you dont have a weapon to shoot back, hold up one of those torso targets, like they said, theres nuthing going thru those target, youll be fine :)

i feel for you nutn, among my group of friends i am about the only one who always has my gear. i ALWAYS have my gun, my knives, my flashlight, and a lighter or two on me, unless im in a bar (which is where i work, and i keep my firearm downstairs til we close) or a place where its illegal by federal law. was pfidude wearing some 5.11 pants in this vid? i love their pants for the comfort and the durability and the pockets. great stuff. love the vids.

You never know when you are going to have to defend your own life, or another innocent persons life from the acts of lunatic with nothing to lose. I find it kinda funny how he carries and has multiple knives. Really, is that necessary? Nut is not in the woods, or hiking, or anything. It makes no sense why a person should carry that much. Lets talk realistically here. If someone did charge nut to rob him, he would probably pull his pistol, and the aggressor would back off. I know he is in the military, and I commend him for that, but that doesn't mean you walk around with a ton of weapons acting like hes in a war zone in the usa.

Nutn is very free about letting people use his vids in a positive way..but we've had "YouTube" incidences in which his videos were basically used in blatant violation of the TOS of Youtube and the copyright. The opening sequence was edited very well! You should set up some "copy and paste" intros for certain things, like a 3 second blip for each dude you bring along, just so you do not need to re-introduce them all the time.

Awesome clips of Sadly's DPMS .308 AP4 rifle too. You didn't do enough shooting of such a kickass platform. I'm a huge fan of 20" AR's in lighter builds just cuz thats cool to me. 20" CMMG upper with a Bushie lower here thanks to Yebache's recommendations.

We've also had people complain that we were too permissive about language. Actually there are standards which say how big an industry is based on the number of employes and/or automated (robotic) machines they are using in the production proces (not based on how big is the place irself)

I like the "static targets" if I have a dedicated practicing field. Also targets you can fold and take with you are awesome for sporadic practicing places and for dedicated fields so you can add more variables to your shooting practice.
