I went to les deux in 2009 and saw a leaflet about this, question is what is best megavalanche or mountain of Hell? Also I would love to know how you enter and the cost? I will be doing this in 2011 with me bruv? Anyone else fancy it? Go as a group?

Never done the mountain of hell. I'm hoping to squeeze both events in this year. Then I'll let you know. For mega entry, the website is avalanchtrophy. Entry normally opens ~12th January.

@TheJFDI I'm going to make the moutain of hell this year with some friends. It doesn't cost a lot.

68€ for inscription + 3 days of mechanical lift (friday, saturday, sunday) + meal sunday midday + free enter at saturday's party.

cool vid, would love to try it, would you recommend a full 10" travel 44lb bike or a 6" 33lb bike? for comfort and reliabilty more than speed as theres no chance of me winning this thing!

Depends on your riding style and ability! I've done it on my 6" Reign and my 8" Socom. But the Socom is quite light... a 44lb beast would be a real pain!! The course isn't that rough or technical (relatively). So I'd stick some beefier rims and dual ply DH tyres on your 6" travel bike. Perfect.
