well, sometimes it really depends on what kind of PC you have - if its really old, and it has a slow processor, then its only natural that something like CamStudio would slow it down. Recording videos takes up a whole lot of memory and if you're recording on an old computer, you're not gonna be able to get that much done.
oh, I think I know why you can't save - you guys probably didn't unzip "mariopaintcomposerpc.zip" to a folder, and you're running it straight from the zip file. I just saw some comments on other videos and tried it out myself, and yeah - you won't be able to save your songs if you keep running Mario Paint from the zip - you have to unzip it first. Then you'll be able to save the songs that you do.
go to your folder of Mario Paint Composer, then the Prefs folder, open up the txt of the song, and look for the 3 digits at the end and change it to whatever speed you want, then save. when you load the song, it should be the speed you set in the txt file.
this is really good. Who cares about quality?

oh, no it does work^^
well, it's saving but CamStudio is very bad I think...
When I'm recording something, the PC slows down and most times I have to restart it.

No, doesn't work, when I unzip it, there's always standing "Script error - continue?"
If I press yes it'll appear again.

It was never saved yet.
That's why we have to hurry up with each theme as we can't save anything.
Maybe that's why our themes sometimes have wrong notes.
We haven't got a program to record what we are doing on the computer either, that's why our qualitiy is bad.
I only found 1 but that costs 499$

well, you could use CamStudio - a free program that lets you record things from your desktop.
as for saving.... I can't understand why you can't save a song - maybe you can record a video to show me? lol
