Unions dont have a chance anymore, Look up, Workers of the world Unite. Spread the wealth stuff. China workers make about $1.50 a day and American workers about $85 an hour total. They are working hard to smooth out this difference. I attended this march. I carried a sign that said, What happens to Delphi happens to Gm, Ford and Toyota! Ya know what, its worked out just that way. All the automakers are now in a race-to-the-bottom even our friends in Brazil.
Unions have lowered automotive quality in the USA because they insist on stopping the line for every headache, boo-boo, etc. When you stop the line, you stop quality. Also, they demand pollution controls and ergonomicly correct fixtures, tools, etc. All this drives up cost and reduces quality. The chinese dont have all this labor law crap and the quality and morale goes up every year while the cost goes down. And nobody in china complains about their jobs. They are greatful. Vote GOP. Vote JOBS.
