Anyone know what the status of this nifty Air-Ute is now after the accident? Will it be produced, be available as a kit as in the past, or is it gone for good. It is a wonderful idea, and I do hope the Aircraft will remain on the market.
I have looked a bit online, and cant find any recent info at all, one way or the other. A heads-up on the projects current status would be appreciated.
Terrible loss for the Aviation Community!!!! Awesome aircraft, perfect for flying Route 66! I hope that the Company that purchased Ecoflyer re-introduces this Sport-Ute of the skies! R.I.P Bernard.
Not even sure if this plane is going to see production after the owner died... I wish, cause no one has been able to build a SUV LSA. Next best thing is the Remos GX... which I am a huge fan of.
Sincere Sympathies to his family and friends. Sorry that Bernard did not live to see his innovation and dreams he had for this airplane fully materialize.
Sad to see Canada has lost a person like him, and most importantly, the loss his family feels. I hope his company lives on. RIP.
