This is pretty sophisticated - I love Slayer's original, but this is in a class of it's own - it's a real arrangement, with additional parts and voices suited for a string ensemble - great work!

War Ensemble is my favorite Slayer song and hearing is done on the strings like this - gives me chills! It does bring out the melody of the song (melody is not something usually associated with Slayer, IMO) and gives me a whole new appreciation for Slayer. These players are awesome, BTW!

I love Slayer - and I really do like how strings truly bring out the melody and songwriting talents of the original composers.'Cause, you know, sometimes you can't hear some really nice detail behind the pounding drums and the screams and snarls of Metal. 5*s - Fucking Beautiful!
