  • There are some ignorant Americans on here. Of course he loves Italy, and chose to play for Italy; because he IS Italian! He was born in the States, but has Italian blood

  • World Cups and Euros playing for Italy 0

  • He clearly loves Italy, his spiritual homeland, and he loves football. Why would he choose to play international football for the USA, which has zero chance of winning the World Cup in the time he'll be playing, or Italy, who've won it 4 times and he has a chance with?

  • if he was american he wouldnt even be called giuseppe...

  • Why don't we just say that you should play for the country of your birth or, if your parents moved to another country when you were under 10 (or some other age) you can play for that country. Then only a handful of players would be doing this ridiculous crap. Rossi is one of 33 Million first generation Americans by the way. It's not like he's this unusual case.

  • the only truely world class american player and he plays for italy :(((

  • He'll never play in a World Cup, thats the price he will pay, and Im happy about that.

  • @louididdy hes on the italian national team how will he never play in a world cup?

  • @fifafan1 He has to make their roster in order to play for them, that didn't happen in 2010, and as a USMNT fan, I hope he never does.

  • @louididdy You clearly don't have a clue buddy. Firstly, its 'squad' not roster 0.o And.....if you knew the rules you'd know that Rossi had already made his competitive debut for Italy. Once you play for one country you cant turn back. He left the States to play in Italy at 12 years old.He owes them his talent. And you ''hope he never does''. He's better than the whole MLS put together.

  • @IrishRu5T Squad/roster whatever. Can you read? I never said he was going to/could play for the USA, he has chosen his side, but he didnt make the World Cup team because he wasn't among the best Italian players! It will be harder for him to play in a World Cup for Italy than if he played for the country he WAS BORN IN.

  • @louididdy Oi yankee, the word is squad.Nothing more. And players get dropped all the time. When Pelligrini or w/e went to Madrid he got rid of Sneijder,Robben,VDV and so forth - let me guess , they arent good either. Its all preference. Lippi went with the old heads of Iaquinta,Di Natale, Gilardino instead of throwing in youth.Since Lipi's left they've actually been reformed with the likes of Rossi,Cassano,Montolovio

  • @louididdy i dont doubt that he will make it because he has already been called up to play in international friendlies so i expect him to be on the team.

  • Rossi is American, he just chose to play for his father's country's national team. I guess he felt closer to Italy in heart.

  • @scarface18707 yes that sounds very cute and everything but let us see the facts Rossi was very young when he got scouted from Manchester United he got tradet to Villareal from Spain!!! in Villareal he is one of the if not THE most important player in his Team so now you can choose playing for the four times world champion Italy or a team that plays "soocer" <<just kidding but Rossi is a talented player he could play in every starting 11 of course he decided to play for italy

  • Fucking traitor.

  • He's american. Should be playing up top for us righht now. Fuck the guy who cut him from the academy.

  • To anyone saying Rossi is Italian and Americans should stop whining. Of course he is Italian, but he's also American. He can play for whoever he wants, but you can't fake that accent. I'm an immigrant to the US (actually, he was born in Jersey). I can tell people I'm Irish 'til I'm green in the face, but I sound like an American therefore I am one. Its odd, but in all of my travels that seems to be how people of other nationalities will characterize people.

  • fuck him the eyetalians need him more then we do,italy has great history USA has great future !!!!

  • Could you imagine Rossi playing for the US? You Italians are lucky to have him :(

  • Fuck Rossi

  • American first, all else second, fuck this guy.

  • fucking guido traitor

  • lol the music in the background

  • Americans want it both ways, they want players that were raised in different countries and coached by European clubs to play for US where they were born, and they want players who were raised in the US but born in different country to play for US, if Rossi is a traitor then so is Stuart Holden (Glasgow), Jermaine Jones (Frankfurt), Juan Agudelo (Columbia) and more. If not then your hypocrites.

  • @98raza20 - I agree with you however, Stuart Holden isn't Rossi. Not even on the same level. I think people here in America were so upset or felt betrayed by his decision to play for Italy because he's a great talent and would of helped elevate the USMNT to a whole other level. Good luck to him though. Great player.

  • stop cryin' yanks, he's italian

  • @Wolleaston108 we got the same discussion with the Turks about Özil........his parents are from Turkey but Özil was born in Germany so that makes him a German Rossi was born in America so that makes him an American.....very simple.......but in the world of football you can choose. in the german national team played in the last 15 years 3 Brazilians ..born in brazil parents from Brazil but the grandparents of thoose guys where part germans.we call it Multi Cultural here in Germany

  • @demsche he's both american and italian. i agree with you. He chose to play for Italy, and believe me, this doesn't make him a traitor. And before being a football player, everybody is a person that can hold 1 or 2 or more passports. By the way, would you call Nuri Sahin a traitor because he chose to play for his parent's country?

  • @Wolleaston108 i would say he is ungrateful Rossi left America when he was young to become a better football player but Sahin he played his entire life in german junior teams he learned to play the game the right way here in Germany its o.k that he choosed playing for turkey but the way he did it i dont know man just ungrateful he acted like someone tried to steal his baby or something really wierd but he wouldnt have played anyway too much competition i think he knew that

  • meh, we don't need him. he's not that damn good. if he wasn't good enough to make italy's 23 man roster for the last world cup, it ain't worth worrying about. we have someone better climbing up the ranks... mr. juan agudelo...

  • @ussoccer99 are you delusional? Rossi is one of the world best strikers, he is wanted by Tottenham, Arsenal, Juventus ect. No Columbian MLS reject will be better than him.

  • @98raza20

no i'm not delusional. agudelo is good, and very young. should be getting european looks in the near future.

  • @ussoccer99 good in MLS which is like the equivalent of English 2nd or 3rd division. Jozy Alitdore was supposed to be a superstar in Europe, he practically begged Hull to keep him and they sent him home early from his loan spell. Altidore has been a failure in Europe despite been amazing in MLS.

  • @98raza20 i really dont know what you guys are talking about but this MLS is 2nd or 3d division shit is getting old. Honestly all leagues(or 98%) in the Americas are considered 2nd or 3rd divisions in England.9 I can say the same about Asia and many more) Even comparing any league to the Premier League is beyond stupid. Sorry for intruding. Dont kill me =X

  • @98raza20 altidore is no superstar but it seems like he is playing a good season for alkmaar in erendivise this season though and he is still 21

  • @ussoccer99 how wrong and misinformed you are .

  • @ussoccer99 hahahahaha aguedlo is a traitor to colombia and he sucks he will never b good as rossi or get close and plus the only reason he didnt make it was because he had barely gotten back from an injury abd wasnt at his best

  • He didn't make his bones in the MLS. He made his bones in Italy. If he is a great football player, it is thanks to Italy, not USA. Everyone needs to stop crying and go back to their Tea Party meetings.

  • @GUEROMEXICANO831 ahahahahah great

  • he is great player..... her nationality is 100 % italy italy

  • Guido

  • Americans dont be angry that he plays for italy and not his country america is where he was born and grew up but he also grew up in italy so you got to respect that but no matter what and he cant hide he will always be an american and italian

  • americans dont get you hopes up he never would of been good if the american coaches got there hands on him, its the same with freddy adu, adu could of been the best footballer in american history but he declined inter milans contract when young then went to some shit mls team and now blows

  • @popi1496 Adu played well in his gold cup caps and is still only 22 years old, don't be fuckin retarded

  • this guy is raw

  • He chose Italy because USA cannot win a world cup. Beating Mexico is nowhere near beating Brazil, Holland, Italy, Germany, Spain, Argentina, France etc..... Its like asking him do you want to play in MLS or play in europe

  • i just hate that hes not doing anything to help american soccer, literally zilch

  • today Joseph Rossi is the number one of the national blue... it is our Messi

  • Pft you can have him he's nothing special.

  • As a player you always want the beat comp around! American Soccer camps or even just playing organized soccer - practices 2-5 hours max a week! In Europe they practice 20-30 hours a week. If you want to be the best you have to play the best. I would have made the same decision.

  • @eatpeenut but rossi would become a star if he played in the usa, ther are a lot of stars on team italy, plus he plays in La Liga its enough competition.

  • @Orgsgrym "honey" "fuck around"? Wait so you think I'm a 13 year old boy seeking the "sexual themes in life" and now you're reffering to me as "honey." ROFLMAO! I'll lay off the weed is you promise to stay away from males who aren't old enough to defend themselves. That's just nasty man.

  • YOU wud have done ''VERY VERY WELL'' if you had chosen correctly

  • To clarify to Italians and guidos alike, I don't have a problem with Rossi going to play with Italy. I'm sad that he didn't play for the US, but whatever. But then he comes back to the US and considers himself a New Jerseyan. If you go to play for Italy, stay there. Don't pretend to be some Italian-American who cares about the US national team, when you left them at the doorstep. Rossi is nothing but a guido traitor. Enough said.

  • Any intelligent person turns down america for italy. Forza Italia!

  • he only born in the us.his parents r italians ,he feels italian,he lived in italy so end of story

ps.rossi is the most popolar surname in italy

  • @Orgsgrym "And who the fuck wants to play for the american team, except for real americans?"

Judging by your first comment you pointed out Native Americans where the only true Americans....so now Canadians and Brazilians are what you consider American? which is it?

  • @Orgsgrym "American name"? lol What exactly is an American name? Last I checked this country was quite diverse. "and yes i know he was born in the states" LOL wtf? You said it yourself.

  • @Orgsgrym He's an American. Theres your answer. Child? Wrong (but youd still like that wouldnt you?) LMAOO and im not even white. Nice, a stereotypical pedophile. Stay away from kids <-- and im serious about that. Its frightening, you switched a conversation about soccer to something about sex and 13 year olds boys. That's not normal.

  • @Orgsgrym LMFAOOOO!!!!! you'd like that wouldn't you? i love how a topic about soccer instantly shifts to me being underaged as well as interested in sex...is that what runs through your mind? 13 year old boys? hahaha fag....and since when did soccer become a "sexual theme"? How does talking about sports instantly shift to underage males and sex...haha dude something is wrong with you. Stay away from kids.

  • TRAITOR

  • @Orgsgrym stupid? LMFAO! someones a hater. dude its all right. We here in the US actually LIKE our country. Not our fault. sucks to be you dude.

  • @Orgsgrym Pwnd? LMFAO im a fan of my country not the sport. i dont care enough for this to be a pwned? as you say...haha!!

  • @Orgsgrym ITs called US SOCCER!!!! NOT AMERICAN SOCCER!!!! United States!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He should have played for our team.

  • He had a choice and made his choice........at least this way he stands a much better chance of winning a World Cup someday rather than settling for Gold Cups in which his biggest rival for that would be Mexico.....it is what is best for him as a player....If you're good enough to play for a team like Italy who has one 4 World Cups, one less than Brazil....GO FOR IT!!!

  • Not sure why you all blew up steams over this Talented Football Player whom moved to Parma when he was 12 !? And to the Italians , Football was the Acute Hyper Ecstasy Leukemia in their blood since birth ! What would you do if you was in his shoes !

  • screw americans, Rossi is italian in his roots and deserves to play on their team

  • Rossi is Italian. Stop.

  • Also people need to get off his jock.. he is not a american player he is italian

  • Rossi had desire to play as a Yankee, so in soccer terms he is just another foreigner

  • WTF! ROSSI!!!!! you should of been playing for the USA

  • FORZA ITALIA!!

  • i think people are forgetting here that he didnt make the team

  • Man U guys Are all fuckn StupId!!! ROSSI IS NOT AMERICAN HIS DAD( ITALIAN) TAUGHT HIM SOCCER SO HE IS PURE ITALIAN FOOTBALLER IF HIS DAD WAS AMERICAN HE PROBABLY WOULDNT HAVE BEEN GOOD CUZ US SOCCER SUX!!

  • Should have played for the US

  • @ferarri092379. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHahahaha. Your a fucking Canadian the biggest pussies of the world. We shit on your country. Just like I said you live in some shitty that licks the united states ass hole just so we don't destroy you. Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • It's bullshit that this kid is born in the us. Is trained by the us and uses all our facilities and at the last second pulls a Benedict Arnold and goes to Italy. He deserves to be on jersey shore. What a guido dousche

  • Ur mom was favorite rossi u fake BytCh

  • Rossi is awesome. I don't care if he went to the Italian team. I think people are just mad because he would have been a great American player. He saw a chance to play on one of the world's best teams and took it. That's what being an athlete is about. Getting to be the best and playing with and against the best. Rossi saw Italy as the best chance to do that.

  • @RightWinger16 not me I'm sorry to let you down but most Americans don't care.

  • @RightWinger16

how would we know that he would still be great had he chosen USA. the last few chosen US were overpraised a lot and ended big flops in europe. im referring to freddy adu and jozy altidore. they woulda oversold g. rossi and he might've ended up like adu

  • @RightWinger16 I agree, I'm a USA fan but I totally understand Giuseppe Rossi's conditions, however, I hate to say that he rued it because he didn't play in the World Cup last year. He might even come to Barcelona, it would be crazy to see the first American-born player to play for Barcelona.

  • @RightWinger16 lol I would agree with you, but Italy is not even all that great. Definitly not one of the best teams in the world. Those are Spain, Netherlands, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Portugal.

  • @scarface18707 Paraguay ? Portugal ? Uruguay ? Talk to me when those teams have FOUR World Cups or any at all (Uruguay is the only one out of those three who have won). You're so fucking dense it's not even funny.

  • @scarface18707 How the hell could you say Portugal and Paraguay are the best in the world. Italia? 4 Mondialis. 1 Euro? Please, The dutch havent even won, a thing. Germany Cant beat us, Uruguay is overrated, Italia Is a top 5 nation

  • @RedDashGaming I'm not speaking of the past I'm speaking of modern day. In 2010 WorldCup Italia not only did not qualify for the 16 round, but they ended up LAST place in their group (under New Zealand). The United States came out FIRST place in their group(over England) and qualified to the next round, but they sure did better than Italia. Now I'm not saying USA is up there with the best teams in the world, but teams like Paraguay, Uruguay, and Portugal would tear Italia a new one.

  • @scarface18707 paraguay hahahahah other then that ok :)

  • @iGotAHuuuuugeDick Well...at the time of that comment Paraguay was actually pretty damn good at the world level, I don;t know what happened to them. But I agree with you lol, take Paraguay out of that and keep the rest for now =)

  • @RightWinger16 Actually not quite true. Rossi plays for Italia because they are the most successful football nation in Europe, and .... well .... he's Italian too.... Just because he was born in "America", this plot of land that calls itself by that "name", does not make who he is irrelevant. Regardless of where he has spent his life, he IS Italian, His parents are Italian.. their son is Italian. He owes US soccer shit. They didnt make him into the player he is, genetics and experience did.

  • @rjsartor Born in the USA = American, Born in Italy = Italian.

  • @louididdy I agree that he's American but I don't think birthplace has such a strong effect as where you were raised. Where you're raised is what defines your nationality, and yes Rossi was raised in USA.

  • @RightWinger16 and then it fucked him right in the ass

  • Dear Rossi,

    Fuck you traitor

    that is all

  • And believe me. Tourists could live without Italy

  • @vidlivz. I don't give a fuck about your monastery. I'm glad they blew it up you guido dousche bag. And all you have to throw at me is some stupid library. That's not even worth arguing over it's so dumb. And what they taught us in history is that you joined sides with the facist Germans cause you pussies knew you'd get your ass kicked. A problem America has never had

  • I hope he chokes on cancer in this throat

  • Just remember ww2. Or do you choose not to remember that one when their teaching history class

  • @freestate31 What you remember in history class is a joke compared to reality, history class about WWII,,lol. Did that history class teach you that it was basically influential Italian americans in the underworld who insured safety for the allies to land in Italy...Of course not, you learned patriotic zealotry, pledging allegiance to a flag, and all that shit. Did you know that Jefferson had an Italian library and gave it an Italian name? Of course not, because your a modern American who's lost.

  • @ferrari092379 don't be jealous just because You live in some shitty country that licks the united states asshole just so we won't destroy you

  • @freestate31 It's so shitty it's always a world leader every year for visiting tourists. That's how shitty it is. Fuckin dumb Americans bombed Montecassino in WWII, a beautiful monastery and did not even kill one German, stupid idiots. Cities in Italy are beautiful, have a real culture not brainwashed on them by their government, and are not littered with garbage and crime like American inner cities, and you call Italy a shitty country...What a joke and you know it.

  • @freestate31 HAHAHA... I piss on you fuckn dumb yankees from up here in Canada. You guys are the laughing stock of the world. Go play your American Football, drink your beer, get fat and die you losers! FORZA GIUSEPPE ROSSI!!!!!!!

  • I've never hear any positive things ever said about Rossi.

  • I can't wait for this next cycle and see Onyewu, Gonzalez, Opara, etc mug this fucker down on the field.

  • @omghicade Onyewu is nothing more than an African gorilla. He got benched by Bradley after the first two games because he's retarted

  • I don't see anything wrong with what he did. The real traitors are players that get random citizenship with countries that are average so they are guaranteed to start for them.

  • For all you idiots bashing Rossi, what you dont realize is Rossi will be part of the future Azzurri squad, starting with the Euro qualifying campaign starting in September. The new azzurri coach, Prandelli, will most likely be calling Giuseppe up again as he will be in charge of developing the younger stars and get them ready for 2014 in Brazil. Do your homework. Rossi is a true blooded italian, who dreamed of playing for his national country.

  • You Italian Americans don't deserve our freedom. So I say you get the fuuuccckkk out

  • @freestate31 Fuck I hate stupid americans like you. Freedom Freedom freedom... is that the only fuckn word you learned in school you stupid yankee? Can you even find your country on a globe? Fuckn dumb shits.

  • @ferrari092379 Yea I can find my country on a globe, can you find yours in the round of 16? Americans talk about freedom because we appreciate what we have and are not as ignorant as to take it for granted. FREEDOM FREEDOM FREEDOM

  • @rocksteady05 I got more Freedom then you faggot...trust me. I know what freedom is. You guys talk about it, but do you really know what it is? or means? Go fuck yourself.

  • @ferrari092379 Wow stfu dude.. you made your self look (i cant see you and i know that so dont fucking point it out) like a retard.

  • @wolb0rg Learn how to spell. Another dumb American. Fuck!

  • @ferrari092379 What did i spell wrong in my whole fucking comment? if you are talking about a few uncaptilized letters or some missing punctuation then that is grammar not spelling dumbass...

  • lol @ Italy going home early. they didn't even have as many points as New Zealand! haha

  • faggot

  • As an Italian American I would have done the same as Rossi and played for Italy as it is instilled in us growing up. I do not believe a non-Italian will ever understand the our dream to play for Italy. No disrespect whatsoever to the USA. Unfortunately Rossi and Follow Italians will have to weather this foolish hatred.

  • @GiancarloG I would play for Italy too if the other option was playing on a team with retarted gorillas who can't think

  • @HaHaStuPadasso

Why don't you move back to the Caves of Europe.

  • Damn I don't know why everyone is so hard on him his family is Italian and they are going to want him to play for Italy. He was just making the decision he thought was best for him at the time. If Freddy Adu played for Ghana he would be called a traitor but he chose the U.S. and he doesn't get any playing time.

  • Rossi, you dumb cunt. Why do you hate freedom?

  • haha dumbass. He totally screwed himself. Serves him right, front runner traitor pussy

  • If you want to play for Italy go back there and stay you tool

  • I know for a fact that he has to to be questioning his descision. What professional wouldn't want to be at the World Cup playing right now? You would have been great up top with Landon, Rossi.

  • @realmadridzidane5 Hmmm Choose A crappy team like USA and not try cuz u know ur goonna be a started and stand out or play for a world class team Like Italy and And actually make an effort to find a spot in the starting team

  • God bless you Rossi and we all wish you well.

  • lol u dont no anything my point exactly

  • @acmillanfan1991

If those are ur young players you guys are fucked

  • @acmillanfan1991 well then if those are your young players you guys are fucked

  • and adding to my last post im talking about the players that start

  • 4 years too late dumbass. USA = force to be reckoned with this and next world cup

  • @freestate31 USA SUCKS Big 3=D

  • @Melgas14 Crappy team like USA? At least we won our group and advanced to the second round, Itlay got last place in their weak group.

  • @realmadridzidane5 hahah i know fuckin dumbasses bt usa got lucky .... i mean they should have ended that group with 2 points and been eliminated, in other words these should have been the fair scores : England 1:0 USA......Slovenia 2:3 USA........USA 0:1 Argelia BTW I Don't go for italy im just sayin USA SUcks and who Cares Italy will always be Better.

  • @Melgas14 fuck you melgas your probably just another beaner talking shit

  • @Melgas14 Ignorance at its finest

  • please do ur research before u comment dont just listen to what other ppl say dont be so stupid. here is an example the italian national team is old ppl say that a lot when the fact of the matter is they only had 3 players that were 30+ so tell me how is that old?

  • @acmilanfan1991 : they were I believe the second oldest team in this tournament.

  • so we all admit that holden and feilhaber r making the same amount of money as rossi now cus if that is the case im sure they would go and visit were they were born scotland and brazil. and yes this was in NY. and he left the usa at 2000 to join a team called parma and they r in italy and then in 2004 left to go to man u so tell me were was the usa when it came to him becoming the player he is today

  • Rossi and wanna be Italian attitude can suck it. He's a traitor to this country and should have rotten fruit and vegetables thrown at him in the street.

  • Comment removed

  • Rossi could have helped lead the USA to the world cup final, I don't doubt that, but players choose other countries because of their heritage ALL THE TIME in soccer. People need to calm down a bit.

  • @iamthewanganator Rossi is a very good player who was born in America and played at the youth levels here. The decision to play for Italy is one he obviously has the right to make, but it sucks that he chose to go with his family's past instead of looking toward the future. Rossi could have been a huge part of something special with this US team, but instead he is going to be a role-player, if he even plays, for a country that will more often than not leave him off of the selection list.

  • HAHAHAHA you didn't make the world cup and your team got knocked out of the group stage!

Fuck you, you turn coat bitch.

  • Italy had better pick him next time. Lippi was stupid not to take him.

  • The first time I've seen where the vuvuzela option is more entertaining than the video itself. I have no interest in what this traitor wants to mumble about.

  • @Usmaman07 And I have no interest in what a dickhead think about a great player like him !

  • @Usmaman07

exactly how he is a traitor his parents are from italy, his whole family is from italy, and he left us ate the age of 12 or 13 to italy. so he is playing for italy. i mean stuart holden entire family is cottish and he was born in scotland and moved to the US at the age of 10 and played for the US. David Sammoa moved to the US at the age of 12 o13 and declared he wanted to play for US and US snubbed him and now he plays for south africa

  • @kumar01234 USA>Scotland its an easy choice.

  • @pqboi

welll italy 4x world cup champions> USA easier choice

  • @kumar01234 i would choose usa over italy, why? because if you play really well people will live you since there arent may great players in the usa you will be the only star, while in italy there are plenty of great players and your overshadowed by other greats.

  • @pqboi

if he chose US then the US soccer media would over praise and he would join a big club and flop like jozy altidore and freddy adu. freddy adu got the royal treatment and he got a big head and moved to benfica a top european club and flopped miserable going from loan to loan. jozy is struggling for minutes at villareal. and we finally get the prressure of freddy adu and now he found a good club heading to top divison and he can rebuild his career from there.

  • @pqboi

either ways rossi lived in italy since he was 13 and moved to manchester i think around 15 or 16. both his parents are italian his entire familia is italian when he watched world cup his house was probably filled with italian stuff. he chose italy for family reasons.

  • so what is everyone pissed about that he was born in the usa or lived here to long

  • so could someone tell me y nobody in the usa calls those 2 players traitors like the general population does because unlike rossi those players played min in this wc

  • ahahahahahahahah

  • first of all thats not de rossi second 2 players on the usa team r born in different country stuart holden was born in aberdeen scotland and feilhaber was born in rio de janerio brazil

  • @acmilanfan1991 Neither of those players lived in those countries until they were 16.

  • @acmilanfan1991 Feilhaber doesn't live in Brazil does he? Where was this video taken? It's obviously in New York or New Jersey. Do you think to get an interview with Feilhaber you would have to go to Rio De Jeneiro? No. Rossi calls himself American in every way yet he chose not to play for his home team.

On vacation from work Rossi comes to what he calls home... New Jersey. You can't tell me that when Holden goes home he goes to Scotland.

  • UHMMMM AHHHH I think that UHHHMMMMM AHHHHHHHHH BZZZZZZZZZ *fade out interview, fade in Vuvuzelas*

  • the usa has many players from other country so what r u guys talking about

  • @acmilanfan1991 but the other country players are born in usa u udiot. de rossi was born in new jersey usa.bam. usa citizen. woooooooooooooooo.

  • rossi should leave the italy national team and be with the usa natinal team and play for his country were he was born?

  • @robiking011 its to late once you play for national side, even once, you cant change

  • @robiking011 No we don't want this scum. Our team is made of player who have American heart. We don't want pussies who run to Italy because it's an easier road. We take the harder road because the victory is much sweeter. We are American.

  • @lbcdemon Listening to stupid sentiments and nationalist dogma like yours. It's no wonder he chose his ethno-cultural heritage country of Italy to play internationally instead of the US. If you knew soccer, the USA playing in Concacef against Central American teams, Carribean Islands and Canada is a much easier road than qualifying for the World Cup and European Chamipionships in Canada. Think of what's best for his carear, playing Spain with Italy or playing Costa Rica with the US.

  • @vidlivs Seems to have worked out okay for Donovan, Dempsey, Cherundolo, Onyewu, Bocanegra etc

Qualifying is easier in CONCACAF, that's a given... but that doesn't hold players back from their club careers. Just look at Rafa Marquez who went from playing in CONCACAF to starting for Barcelona. How about David Suazo or WIlson Palacios who play for Honduras and are also very respected in Europe. More recently, look at Chicharito Hernandez who went from playing in Mexico to Manchester United.

  • @pupcakevadergwen Mexico has had a developed professional soccer league and has sent players to Europe for decades. You never heard of Hugo Sanchez.

  • @lbcdemon actually it would have been easier for rossi to play for US than for Italy.
