I don't see why any of us try to make sense at all of the Castlevania timeline, especially with Iga's tweaking. I've learned to sit back, smile & nod at whatever is being spouted & eventually enjoy a good game.

Good reason to retcon Legends: Alucard being Trevor's father.

Why they felt they had to retcon Legends while hanging onto a bucket of fuck like Adventure, I'll never understand.

maybe because it contradicted the other games (i'm not even speaking of IGA games), specially Castlevania III became a mess with this storyline, in the other hand both adventure games are ver consistent with teh general olders games storyline and the whole 100 years dracula resurection (it fits perfectly 100 years between Castlevania III and the first CVadventure and another 100 years between the CVadventure2 and Simon's Castlevania)

Adventure has since been replaced with Adventure Rebirth, and that's a pretty good game.

Legends had almost all of the flaws Adventure did, but with a silly story. Alucard is father to Trevor? lolwut

@megagrey If they kept legends in the time line the continuity errors would be of astronomic proportions, that's why. But I agree that they should have re-released it and altered the storyline slightly, maybe making her Leon's daughter or granddaughter or something, that would have worked out quite nicely.

The only continuity error I ever seen in Legends is when she defeated Dracula, because the timeline states that Trevor, her son, was the first one to actually kill the Count. And that is easily rectified by saying either Dracula faked his defeat or it wasn't the REAL Dracula. Many Castlevania fans don't believe that Alucard is Trevor's father anyway.

mine too, i bought it back in '99, i was like 13 or 14 idr, but i loved this game above all castlevania GB games, this game is awesome no matter what people say.
