I've never actually thought about this until now, My first FPS was Q1 in '97, back when things were so much faster paced. Now, when I play games like COD, I run and gun, I try and make the game as fast as possible while everyone else is sneaking around with snipers.

I just get annoyed with your kind of "new kids" who have no idea about games like quake and quake 3 where the fighting phase was very fast... in multiplayer the normal speed was even made faster to make the game MORE fast... that's something you new age gamers don't know shit about.

This game is amazing! They should remake this game on Play Station 3! First Quake was a first-person shooter survival horror game and has no connection to other Quake games whatsoever. This game is similar to Doom a lot. And I mean a lot similar! By the way, the player in this video is extremely skilled and I really admire his work!

@TheMurkod It's a combination of strafing and turning in mid-air, which is part of bunny hopping. It's difficult to concisely explain the technique to a new player.
