Dude, you're doing it the wrong way. It looks just bad when the camera shakes and the robot doesn't follows, you have to do a motion track on your footage before and use the camera data in the final render.
Hi avengerofsocks, thanks for your reply. What could i do to make it look more authentic? I want to know because while i was animating it i made loads of different sections (like they do in the transformer movie). I think you mean keep them in chunks (like they did in the citroen ad). Is that what you meant?

What do you mean, if you run a motion-track everything should follow the footage.
There is a free one called Voodoo, just google it! ;)

I know, my motion tracking was pathetic... lol.

this is impressive for home made...i think if it had more detail it could be a bit better

but the objects disapeared in the tranformation process. That makes it look less authentic.
