thats cool, im a freshmen too, but ive been playing since i was in 3rd grade, and i didnt get any lessons, i just learned from my older brother, who started playing tennis before i did, and so i learned from him, and after like 6th grade and during jr high, i started learning more by myself, and i practice by myself, all u gotta do is practice and try to find some people who u can practice with, and whether u win or lose, just keep practicing after, take my advice for it man.

That isn't a forehand grip. That's Continental Grip, a good serve grip, but not for forehands.

No. For great, modern style topspin use semi-western or western grip. You can probably youtube those terms to find out how to position your fingers.
