the problem is many of these dog are not structurally sound, that is why guide dogs are selectivley bred to reduce hip and elbow dysplasia

So sad that there are any animals in shelters at all! I love this program and i think it should be expanded to all shelters and pounds!

If you need a dog or cat check the rescue shelters or the county animal shelters. You'll find a good there for sure.

I don't see why this isn't normal. Every state should have some type of program like this. As many cities as possible could jump on board with this.

The psychological benefits could be enormous.
