haha, i love how this is a movie about yes a war inwhich the american revolutionaries won fairplay, however yous did win in 1781 because yous were superior to the british army, yes the coloniel militias utilised tactics that the british were not trained for plus, the british were profoundly outnumbered, and the americans got military aid from the french. although yes it was an american victory the british soldier were far superior at that time, in the evidence they won the majority of battles

cornwallis wasn't the real villain of the movie. he's just part of the war, not to mention one of the most brilliant generals ever, and played very well by tom wilkinson. and jason issacs seems to love playing slimeballs, and very good at it.

actually it was somewhat accurate. there was a swamp fox, but it was francis marion, and the americans did win at the battle of cowpens at the end, but tavington(real name banastre tarleton) did survive the war, except for a few of his fingers apparently. but that's hollywood for you, changing facts to make a movie more interesting, whether it benefits it or no.

but the song is certainly great. one of the few best on the soundtrack, and very inspiring.
