well, i got the laptop a few days ago and got the power chord today. booted up nice, installed xp and got it updates installed and this is a neat little monster. i could care less if the battery works (even though it does wich is a bonus) but im happy now :D oh, it has 320mb ram instead of 256.
hey, i got an a21m yesterday and wondered if the specs are similar to the guy below me. i know it has win2000 and a PIII, but i would like to know the mhz and the ram size. im guessing its similar to 256mb. I havent used it yet because i get the power chord sunday.
The A21m and the A22m are pretty much identical. The A21m is one step down in the processor, unless it has been modified. It should have a PIII 700MHz. The ram, OS and other items can vary from machine to machine. Both can handle a maximum of 512mb ram.
alright then. i got a PIII 700 mhz comp with 640mb ram as my secondary desktop which runs xp fine. i guess what im saying is with the 2 being similar besides the ram (blahblah) all i care is that the laptop will run xp. thanks. :D
Yes, in fact I do... IBM ThinkPad X20 model 6226 w/ Windows 2000, 20 GB 3600/4200 RPM IDE hard drive, Pentium III @ 600 Mhz, and 320 MB of Ram. Windows 2000 isn't cooperating. What state and city are you in.
I thought about adding some of those things, and might if needed, but the price might jump a little bit. The only thing that I don't have is the Bluetooth. I'm not a big believer in it. BTW: I saw that your channel has a note on it about "OMG, OMG! The T-pad is working"....do you have a problem with one?

I watching this video on an A22m. It can watch 320p if I wait a few seconds and let it load a bit beforehand, or right away in 240p.
Really good for a computer of this age.

I have an X20, 600 MHz Pentium III, 320 MB RAM. But the battery lasts about an hour or less.

That's a great laptop for casual use, but I like to game and have multiple things running at once, this one probably wouldn't be for me.

You could also add a 100 Meg Ethernet PCI card, USB Bluetooth, and a Wifi PC Card... my perfect config. Ooh! And WIndows XP Pro.
