I want to see this Ike's army being taken down when they're all ticked out. Not a lot of Ike's units were strong to begin with like Rolf. He's using his bow and only 13% chance hit? You can tell he wasn't trained.
I thought Aran couldn't have any supports with Laura. When I played this game and tried to create a support between them, their names weren't in each other's support lists....
I had to do the Fiona/Aran and Edward/Laura support combos....
Training Fiona IS a huge pain in the ass, but I think that it's worth it when you get her to the third tier, since she'll heal quite a bit with Imbue, since Silver Knights have above average magic for physical units, and do pretty decent damage.
@Jaxl089 but the master seals is needed for change to 3th classes,right?i just got 2 or 3 master seal before this chapter for micaiah team. Maybe japanese version is different?
@bluealex1985 You don't need a master seal to class up. You can gain 100XP past level 20 (on most characters) and that will class the unit up. Master seals just give the player the option of classing up a unit before they hit level 20; they can also be used at level 20 to save them the process of having to gain another 100XP to class up.
Also, master seals promote 1st tier units to 2nd tier. Master _crowns_ promote from 2nd to 3rd tier.
@Jaxl089 don't forget that 3rd tier classes are super powerful, so, the only way to get them is through the use of Master Crowns... unless you're playing the american version, then you'll get through EXP gain.... ¬¬
it takes away all the strategy you have to think before upping someone...

774 turns? How, enemys always stop spawning on every map and you couldn't have gave them that much extra xp? I mean i have tried to get them to third tier before the tower of guidance but never suceeded..
@johnslullaby I didn't kill them on purpose. I unequipped my units and let them attack them and miss. That way they could attack until their weapons broke (which didn't happen for a long time) and earn 1XP per turn, maybe more if multiple enemies attack a single unit.
@RageOfTheTiger Compared to PoR, RD is significantly more challenging when it comes down to the strength of the enemy and the task of raising low level characters. RD is easier in the respect that you are given the ability to battle save at any time, and reload that save if things don't go your way or even if a unit dies. It's also easier in the respect that any character can support with any other character. RD is my favorite FE game, if you value opinions. Hope that helps. :)

Ho- What? Enemies can dodge Astra hits? I knew they could dodge either (Pissed me off in PoR when Bryce and the BK dodged both hits of it once) but I thought Astra was a guaranteed hit.
Hey, I started the game again after a long time without playing it. At the final chapter of the first part, I made a battle save that screwed up all the chapter, because now every time I load Edward dies.
Is there anyway to restart de level without restarting all the campaign?
I watched Yuisin's video, the reason for his team to be underleveled is that he was playing the Japanese version. Beorc can't promote to 3rd tier without the master crown in that version. He probably didn't have that many at that chapter. Great video.

I can still never achieve what you had.
Most of my members from Dawn Bridage have been promoted to their 2nd tier jobs but never 3rd tier. Except for Laura who you can just simply spam healing staffs.
I remember one time I did this chapter, I sent Taurneo to beat Ike, instead if Taurneo beating Ike, Ike killed Taurneo and that triggered an automatic Game over. I don't know where I got the idea that Taurneo could beat the Ike I trained very hard.
I love to see how the dawn brigade is only worth leveling on easy difficulty. I wonder if in a seriour run they are worth the HELL they make one go trough... because lets face it, they are wimps... and in hard mode, that weakness is taken to the max and the CPU doesnt has mercy...
I have always seen the Dawn brigade as extremelly fragile and bothersome units to train (with a few exceptions, such as Aran, Edward and maybe Nolan). Because in order for them to work, they need a lot of babysitting.

Basically a narrow passageway that limits the amount of units that can go through. For example, sometimes I have Eddie and Nolan hold the left bridge in Raise the Standard (1-6, stage 2). Since they support each other they can survive for a while, and strengthen their bond in doing so.

Nice I killed Ike with eddie as a lvl3 trueblade and gave him adept and he owned Ikes ass without being counter attacked ....It took a couple of tries cuz he had a support with oscar
same here. at one point of the game you get a butt load of bonus exp points and I used most of them to get fiona to class up. her attack never went up...once. Sure she was fast, but she couldn't kill ANYBODY!!
I tend to use Nolan. Leonardo, Sothe, Aran, Zihark, Jill, and Tauroneo(when you finally get to use him.) But, I am thinking about replacing Jill. Strategicly, she is very good, but is very hard to train, and is to get killed. I can't think of another unit to use though. Volug maybe. Anyone have any ideas?
Is Edward even worth the trouble? I have a hard time training the other three. He definetly has potential, but it is around the fourth chapter I stop using him. I actually wondered if Micaiah might be good, but the same question ofr her as with Edward, is she worth the time.
Well Edward is only worth it if you can give him alot of BEXP his growth spread is good HP85% Str:60% Skill:65% Speed:60% he's not worth using on hard mode. Micaiah she won't double anyone but she's a good candidate for Rexaura, though sometimes you'll probably use her staffs more than her attacking. Since the Dawn Brigade tends to be underleveled and gets takes a lot of damage. (Probably)
Thanks for the tip. Also, maybe someone can help me with something else. I have a little trouble with the actual story line of the game. Like Izuka's role in the Blood Pact, and what Sephiran had to do with some things. Izuka is the one thing I am trying to figure out the most. Was he in cahoots with Lekain from the begining, or did he betray Daein for not getting respect? If it is the first one, then a lot more question come up. Like, why they would want to take over Daein in the first place?
I love this vodeo man. It is just purely awsome. I always thought that the Dawn Brigade was better than the Greil Mercenaries. Geril Mercenaries are still cool, but a little old fashioned. 12 thumbs up dude, you are Daein's hero.
Also, Ive heard good things about Aran in the endgame but Ive never been able to level him, one time I stuck with him until he was about 1/2 way done as a halberdier and he was still at like 10 speed, getting murdered by everything. Nice that you got him to Sentinel by this stage. I should play this game again...
I forged Aran a good iron lance in the beginning[Which made him pretty good, Lances and used BEXP to level him 3-4 times as a teen. His speed is like 20 or so on my game, pretty much murdered everything from chapter 5 to endgame, for part one.. but I just finished part one and am fucking sick so.
Wow, cant believe you leveled Leonardo over Rolf. Rolf turns out to be more of a beast than Shinon in the end because of his higher strength. And Oscar? I leave his lame ass alone every time. Ive NEVER had enough patience to deal with Fiona, and I usually shelf ZIhark for Edward (hate it when people call him 'Eddie'). But other than that, damn, almost identical to my last playthrough. Basically just Edward running through slashing everything.
And lastly regarding Fiona... she actually has great defense, res, luck, and speed growths, but you can cross out speed because to do any damage with her he have to use a weapon with 15 weight or so and, with such poor strength, her speed at roughly 16 turns to 7 A S.
A Support between Nolan and Volug=GOD. +45 Avoid makes it easy to level volug just by making him kick while the enemies miss him. People seem to hate laguz because they gain levels slow, but by counterattacking they gain 25 exp each time, and killing by counterattack kick gives like 80 exp.
Hey, your game looks like Path of Radiance does. On my game, there are no circles under the units, and the animation's camera angles are diiferent. Graphics are a little better, too.
i always thought that the griel mercs were overrated...i dont know about u guys but i think the whole game shud have been about micaiah lol i hate everyone who doesnt use leonardo tho he's just as good as shinon and rolf ive played multiple playthrus and leo usually turns out better Aran is better for me cuz i play defensively.nephenee is just as good but for a diff reason...edward is a mia clone and nolan is a god he usually ends up better than boyd...fiona is unplayable!!!! lol
On my first playthrough Aran had horrible speed (13 by Part 4 O_O) and he died from doubling, I restarted, beat the game, play a second time and he had 22 speed. Fiona sucks for her horrible skill and speed, but I got her to Silver Knight by part 4 Prolouge. Use her because you need her Savior skill. Her FREE Savior skill that opens room for more skills. And Imbue is god
arans speed stat has never been an issue for me he usually can still double by the end of part 4....and fiona just pisses me off i can never get her to survive anything....i always bench her cuz she never amounst to anything on my playthrus
Nolan's Colossus Ownage, Zihark's Pulloff on Multiple and Critical attacks, Taureneo's Laughable Performance, and Edward's Super Pwnage Plays and defeating Ike...
You just need to use Djur and Jarod to get them strong because those two bosses have the skill renewel so they heal themselves over time. Please note that you will most likely get to turn 999 by the time you finish. And if I have a word of advice it would be not to make Daein too strong. Otherwise it will become a problem at Part 3 endgame.

well if you still with-in the doubt, in the main menu instead of choosing "continue chapter" choose start chapter and select your acording save file

@arceuland boss abuse, as explained in the description of this video, is the best method for that.
just load up some bronze weapons on a seize map, and slap the bosses with them, and wait for the bosses to heal up so you don't kill them.
that's usually how it works

Put the two people you want to support each other close together during gameplay. After a while you'll be able to strengthen their support.
One good way to do this is to have them hold a choke point together for a while.

Basically a narrow passageway that limits the amount of units that can go through. For example, sometimes I have Eddie and Nolan hold the left bridge in Raise the Standard (1-6, stage 2). Since they support each other they can survive for a while, and strengthen their bond in doing so.

Nice I killed Ike with eddie as a lvl3 trueblade and gave him adept and he owned Ikes ass without being counter attacked ....It took a couple of tries cuz he had a support with oscar

same here. at one point of the game you get a butt load of bonus exp points and I used most of them to get fiona to class up. her attack never went up...once. Sure she was fast, but she couldn't kill ANYBODY!!

I tend to use Nolan. Leonardo, Sothe, Aran, Zihark, Jill, and Tauroneo(when you finally get to use him.) But, I am thinking about replacing Jill. Strategicly, she is very good, but is very hard to train, and is to get killed. I can't think of another unit to use though. Volug maybe. Anyone have any ideas?

Is Edward even worth the trouble? I have a hard time training the other three. He definetly has potential, but it is around the fourth chapter I stop using him. I actually wondered if Micaiah might be good, but the same question ofr her as with Edward, is she worth the time.

Well Edward is only worth it if you can give him alot of BEXP his growth spread is good HP85% Str:60% Skill:65% Speed:60% he's not worth using on hard mode. Micaiah she won't double anyone but she's a good candidate for Rexaura, though sometimes you'll probably use her staffs more than her attacking. Since the Dawn Brigade tends to be underleveled and gets takes a lot of damage. (Probably)

Thanks for the tip. Also, maybe someone can help me with something else. I have a little trouble with the actual story line of the game. Like Izuka's role in the Blood Pact, and what Sephiran had to do with some things. Izuka is the one thing I am trying to figure out the most. Was he in cahoots with Lekain from the begining, or did he betray Daein for not getting respect? If it is the first one, then a lot more question come up. Like, why they would want to take over Daein in the first place?

Also, Ive heard good things about Aran in the endgame but Ive never been able to level him, one time I stuck with him until he was about 1/2 way done as a halberdier and he was still at like 10 speed, getting murdered by everything. Nice that you got him to Sentinel by this stage. I should play this game again...

I forged Aran a good iron lance in the beginning[Which made him pretty good, Lances and used BEXP to level him 3-4 times as a teen. His speed is like 20 or so on my game, pretty much murdered everything from chapter 5 to endgame, for part one.. but I just finished part one and am fucking sick so.

Wow, cant believe you leveled Leonardo over Rolf. Rolf turns out to be more of a beast than Shinon in the end because of his higher strength. And Oscar? I leave his lame ass alone every time. Ive NEVER had enough patience to deal with Fiona, and I usually shelf ZIhark for Edward (hate it when people call him 'Eddie'). But other than that, damn, almost identical to my last playthrough. Basically just Edward running through slashing everything.

And lastly regarding Fiona... she actually has great defense, res, luck, and speed growths, but you can cross out speed because to do any damage with her he have to use a weapon with 15 weight or so and, with such poor strength, her speed at roughly 16 turns to 7 A S.

A Support between Nolan and Volug=GOD. +45 Avoid makes it easy to level volug just by making him kick while the enemies miss him. People seem to hate laguz because they gain levels slow, but by counterattacking they gain 25 exp each time, and killing by counterattack kick gives like 80 exp.

Hey, your game looks like Path of Radiance does. On my game, there are no circles under the units, and the animation's camera angles are diiferent. Graphics are a little better, too.
Are there different versions of Radiant Dawn?

i always thought that the griel mercs were overrated...i dont know about u guys but i think the whole game shud have been about micaiah lol i hate everyone who doesnt use leonardo tho he's just as good as shinon and rolf ive played multiple playthrus and leo usually turns out better Aran is better for me cuz i play defensively.nephenee is just as good but for a diff reason...edward is a mia clone and nolan is a god he usually ends up better than boyd...fiona is unplayable!!!! lol

On my first playthrough Aran had horrible speed (13 by Part 4 O_O) and he died from doubling, I restarted, beat the game, play a second time and he had 22 speed. Fiona sucks for her horrible skill and speed, but I got her to Silver Knight by part 4 Prolouge. Use her because you need her Savior skill. Her FREE Savior skill that opens room for more skills. And Imbue is god

arans speed stat has never been an issue for me he usually can still double by the end of part 4....and fiona just pisses me off i can never get her to survive anything....i always bench her cuz she never amounst to anything on my playthrus

Yes, but generally the XP you get from spamming exceeds the amount you would get from BEXP.

You just need to use Djur and Jarod to get them strong because those two bosses have the skill renewel so they heal themselves over time. Please note that you will most likely get to turn 999 by the time you finish. And if I have a word of advice it would be not to make Daein too strong. Otherwise it will become a problem at Part 3 endgame.
