  • nice bass trombone, rrrrrrrrasp. love it.

  • At Christmas the SA would play in town and i could have stood there and listened to them all day, but now don't hear of them anymore, but i do give to them because they help a lot of people and they do very good work.

    The Salsa Club.

    Sounds tasty !

  • The tune at 1.50 is ten thousand thousand souls there are, entered within the door. This is song 266 in the S.A. song book and band tune book # 158 in the blue book. Played it on alot on marches to the hospital for open air services in our town, way back.(using the red book then)

  • sorry i meant the tune at 1.50 - can anyone help?

  • fantastic!!!!! - but was the name of the last tune?

  • SUPERB.

  • It's a pity that I cannot see the Salvation Army doing the same thing in my country.

  • and how many were saved?

  • @tartandaddy - We may never know in our timescale...This is in the hands of The Almighty. God Bless!

  • good to the army still out and about

  • This is magnificent

  • This brings me back to the 1950's in Port Elizabeth South Africa and Salisbury Rhodesia in the 1960's, it still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I now help the Salvation Army Rockingham, Western Australia when I can. Once a Salvo, always a Salvo, it's something that never leaves you although you are no longer a full time member.

  • I like this video thanks for sharing it nice to see corp and band flags on the march, some words came to mind we will lift the army flag with blood&fire and tell the world that jesus saves.

god bless the mission in newcastle

  • Thank you to you Salvationist who keep this form of witness alive! It is thrilling to see the Salvation Army on the march behind the blood and fire! It is unfortunate that here in the states the only time you see the Army on the march is during peek fund raising times (Christmas). Thanks for posting and continue the tradition! Blessings!

  • Thank you for your comments. Have you seen the other Marches. March of Witness NO;1, and the Newcastle & Romford March. Hope you enjoy.

    Every Blessing

  • Yes I have....thanks again for posting and sharing!

  • Love this video! Thanks for recommending it. The bass trombone sounds briliant as it marches past. I'm very envious of the sound!!!!

  • I agree, the two remaining trombonists make a great sound. Excellent video!

  • Why only two trombones?

  • The cameraman, myself, is one of the missing trombonists. Two are on holiday, one unable to march. Can't answer for the rest.

The two make up for the rest with a great sound, I thought. What instrument do you play?
