  • Kids love him?

  • Adebesi in the house :D

  • OZ!

  • it's kind of funny and in the same time it make me very happy and surprise . why ?

because i assume every person who saw Adewale's characters in Oz and in Lost would be surprise to see a nice and so sympathic man .

for me - after seen this interview - i concluded that Adewale's personality is an amazing example for imitation model .

i wish i would be calm and happy like he is .

  • well Majestic ain't talkin like that

  • watching this interview to hear his true accent. watching Oz and Lost for too long.

  • this guy is a nigerian

  • wow, i know he's of nigerian decent and born in london.. but man, the accent he pulled off in oz as adebisi and his natural accent are amazingly different!

  • So is Oz worth watching?

  • @53104 It's one of the best television series ever. So raw and the acting is brilliant.

  • @cun7us

Just finished the whole series, was fucking epic.

  • @53104 Good man, glad you enjoyed it ;)

  • i think fat girls have the best voice

  • who else had to copy paste his name?

  • @FreeGamesEverywhere everyone did

  • @FreeGamesEverywhere ahahaha how tha fuck did u know that

  • @TheKIngBP nobody can remember how to spell his name by memory lol

  • I would.

  • ADEBISI

  • Eamonn Walker who plays Karim Said is British as well. Plus someone mentioned Domenic West from the Wire, well Idris Elba who plays Stringer Bell is ALSO British.

  • mr eko has a london accent

  • Get rich or die tryinnnnn! 50!

  • omgggggggggggg i just finished the epi where adebisi died...and he seems so...diff!

  • "he touched kenny's penis"

  • Badass actor

  • Wow Dominic west and him are really good at hiding there accent

  • OMG THIS IS MR. EKO? brilliant actor.

  • Hell yeah,, his best role was OZ, man,, so sad its gone, it was the best drama on HBO ever in History, I thought it blew away Sopranos, The Wire, and Sex In The City hands down. He was also in The Mummy and Ace Ventura 2 and Get Rich Or Die Tryin, great actor

  • if Adebisi talked like this in the show, he'd be everyone's prag!

  • wow the voice

  • 6:05-6:07 :D :D :D THAT was Adebisi!!!

  • He was marvelous playing Adebisi. He'ss british accent sounds weird when thinking about Oz :D

  • Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje for the next doctor who?

  • Gimme some tits lmao!

  • this is adebisi

  • wow!!! so used to the adebisi accent this dude is a great actor!!

  • You guys should see him in Faster (2010) movie with The Rock. He was brilliant in it. Real talent just like Chiwetel Ejiofor - another african-brit btw.

  • WoW! Talk about typecasting & stereotyping! He's an actor. Why can't a Nigerian/Black Brit have a law degree you wankers!? That's just like the whores who "fell in love" with Idris Elba when he was on The Wire but had some disappointment when they found out HE was a Black Brit & DJ. That just goes to show how good they are at their craft. Shallow Yanks..what a disgrace!

  • Yeah.....this accent is pretty surprising. The same effect on me as the guy from "House".

  • Adebisi!

  • Greedy. Asked for 5x times an already hefty sum just for a cameo scene or two. I bet it would have only been a quick smile at the end of the church scene in the finale. Disgrace.

  • I was disappointed when I found out that he was born in London but I was really disappointed when I found out he has a Masters Degree in Law. It just ruined my fantasy of this hard core African Mandingo.

  • @tamina06 "ruined my fantasy of this hard core African Mandingo"? A lot of Nigerians have degrees

  • This guy is actually brilliant. Hard to believe he played Adebesi. He's clearly real talent. I'd love to see him in more movies.

  • Listen yall, his accent really is British, for he was raised over there!

  • I remember when I rented season one of "Oz", Adebisi really stuck out to me. Likewise I was so shocked to find out the actor is British!

  • i know he is nigerian but even so, his nigerian accent in Lost is so convincingly unfaltering! so weird seeing him with a normal london accent!

  • Sook ma deek !!!

  • holy fuck, his accent :O

  • This is NOT Adebisi from 'Oz'. I'm completely sure. Impossible.

  • @ImperaGaming

    EPIC FAIL. It is Adebisi.

  • @Darksteez I wasn't serious, you stupid fuck.

  • He got a master degree in Law. Adebisi was a beast.

  • Its wierd as hell seeing Adebisi speaking in a British accent

  • Jesus, how f*cking annoying is the interviewers (blatantly over-dubbed) voice? Ugh.

  • I never would have thought he sounds as British as he does, especially after seeing him in OZ and The Mummy Returns. He makes an incredible bad guy

  • ugh he never came back to lost

  • HOW HAS ADEBISI GOT SUCH A STRONG ENGLISH ACCENT! I THOUGHT YOU WERE GULLY!!! NOOO! :(

    what an actor, fucking hell

  • I still watch all the old episodes of OZ, he was the best in it

  • Why, Adebisi? WHY!?

  • I just can't picture Simon Adebisi with a British accent! lol. Adebisi made the whole "OZ" program.

  • awww he's so sweet it's quite oz cos I watched him in Oz, Brilliant actor!!!! Xxx

  • I have wanted this guy for the longest time. Even before OZ, back when he played a clairvoyant in "Delta of Venus" and had that film's sexiest moment.

  • DAMM adebesi !! u got Out of JAIL!!

  • hes such a good actor, i see him as the lord of war but i cant even pronounce his fuckin name. great actor though. great actor.

  • yes man adebisi was the best lol

  • MR.ECHO!! he is bad ass in lost lost too bad he chose to leave lost i will miss him hope he comes out in season 6.

  • ADEBESI!!! You Sick Fuck!!! This dude's a maniac!!!

  • @OnThatPowder How do you know? . So every rich black guy you see is a maniac right

  • @gamenigeria Look i said "Adebisi", obviously i was referring to his character on OZ (who is a brilliantly acted MANIAC.) Don't come at me with that horseshit. And damn, I really had to look back for my old comment, y'all musta spent some time findin' the perfect comment to point out a "racist", naw ya wrong. Go on with you're nonsense

  • Wow the interviewer is disgusting - dress up a LITTLE ya slob!!!

  • he's got a british accent cool. After hearing his Mr Eko voice I expected something a lil different. Hes a great guy

  • I expected Mr Eko to have a heavier English accent for some reason. ;)

  • what d'you mean by heavier, do you mean some kinda blend between the English accent and African accent

  • More defined English accent, his comes off more between an American tone and a bit of an English one. Like Dominic Mongahan for instance a more defined tone.

  • well I dont exactly live in the UK so this sounds like a pretty normal English accent to me. He doesn't sound American to me, when it comes to the US there are different accents, there is the southern redneck accent those are the guys in Florida, and most of the south and then there is the East Coast and African-Americans have a kinda different accents from their white counter-parts.

  • 'defined' ? Adewale has a standard southern English accent, Dominic Mongahan has a Manchester (North West England)/American blend now.

  • i love his voice and his accent!!

i didn't expect this after hearing him as mr. Eko.

  • he was sooo brilliant in OZ!

  • ADEBISI!!!

  • whos that fat bitch

  • which fukcer changed the left sound with right

    ?

  • do your mr eko voice!

  • ADEBISIIIII!!!

He sounds so British (yeah, I know he's a Brit). It still throws me off.

I loved this guy in OZ, but I admit I haven't seen "G.I. Joe" because it seems sooo cheesy (plus, it doesn't seem he has a big part in it anyway). Other than LOST, has he really done anything worth watching in the last five years? Even if not, he's still forever the legendary fucking beast ADEBISI to me.

  • he did, just not in the previews, i saw it yesterday, he had british accent in it and he is got nigerian blood in him, even did g.i joe's premiere in Lagos.

  • Adebisi ftw :D

  • this is a fucking trip. i've been stuck with the adebisi voice in my head when i think of this cat for ten years. holy shit. he's more british than me!

  • If they ever do a Frank Bruno movie....

  • @MaydayCavalier

yeah its a bit of a mindfuck

  • @MaydayCavalier Exactly!!! I'm so used to seeing his great character in OZ that this British accent just blows my mind! What a great actor. :)

  • Comment removed

  • @MaydayCavalier Indeed. One does not expect Adebisi to rock up to the place going, "All right, darlin'?" :D

  • this is his real accent. if anybody took the time to read his bio then they would know that he was born and raised in England. I never heard people say Biggie, Busta Rhymes, or Shyne should use their real accents.

  • Comment removed

  • oz legend he should use his real accent like in oz in real style! he trying to speak normally is kinda faggy

  • u r more faggy for being dumb, he is african english, raised in london so what the fuck do u expect, american accent wtf.

  • He was the best in OZ! He should just use his adebisi accent in real life

  • true

  • OZ Legend!!!

  • miss him as adebisi

  • im used to seeing him as adebesi in oz, one of the best characters ever!

  • one of the best shows ever.

  • @cun7us I agree! xD

  • @cun7us i hear you!

  • damn i hope mr eko gonna come back

  • i'm so used to his accent from lost, as mr.eko
