That was the worst pass i think i have ever seen how are you out front if you cant even pass lap traffic? Its 100% your fault for hitting him you couldve just waited like 2 seconds and railed past him after that bouy.
If in fact the #3 boat was the rider who was lapping the lead boat, the lapped rider needs to 'give way' while being lapped to oncoming traffic. They in fact become the safety hazard on the track. It is obvious the second rider is racing at a higher rate of speed and traction.
At point .15 the 'lapped' rider looks back over his right shoulder and knows the faster rider is coming in. The lapped rider does not pull over to give way, but closes the door in the turn. The contributing factors are twofold. Accidents are problematic, however this is experience in race track competition and knowing/abiding by the rules.
If you are the slower traffic on the track during a race, you are to give way. To give way in this situation, the rider should have pulled out to his left or port side allowing the faster rider to pass. Or the faster rider could have in hindsight taken the outside, slowed down and passed safely. Just my opinion and don't know all the facts. Glad it was a minor incident. Chalk it up to racing and experience, decision making is a split second reaction, choose well.
You're an idiot. You could have waited one buoy and made a safe pass on the other racer. You obviously had the faster ski, but you were too self-important to to be safe and respectful to your fellow racers. If I were a course marshal at that event, I would have had you black flagged.
