I coudn't agree more. I love the 071 locomotive. I remember my first ever trip to Dublin from Kilkenny when I was only 5 was drawn by an 071, I was amazed at the sound that 12-645 EMD engine made, not that I knew what engine type it had back then of course. I now rekindle those memories by making trips to Kildare so I can photograph the 071's that pass by or that go-around their consists
Our MKIIIs are based on the english ones with alterations. Our Mark IV are completely different they are rated to 125mph but the class 201 engines have a top speed of 100mph
what about your mk4s do they have windows on them that open??? ours if the air conditioning fails in the summer the only window to ventalate the train is the tiny drivers window!!! But the more probable case is it would just be declared as a failure!!!
Are you trying to say "That could be dangerous, you could get sucked in"? Instead of looking at trains I would suggest you get a spelling book and learn learn from it.
that train was doing more than 75mph.
looked more like 90

I'm not too sure english mk3s open their doors by a handle I think... In Ireland we have doors with buttons...
IrishRail201 4 years ago
Yeah, in England we have to open and close the doors manually on our mk3s but we have button operated mk4s.
