@InvalidAuthorization yeah it pretty good, esp for kicka and hand/foot combos. resistance is obviously less the higher up you hit it as all the weight it in the base. but overall is pretty good, esp if you've got nowhere to hang a long bag.
im just basing it on the vid , u dont seem too skilled , and hav no clue wether u improved or not , but for all i know u got alot better , jus sayin bro
Certain (powerful) techniques will cause it to topple occasionally - but my base is filled with water, it is supposed to be heavier and more stable when filled with sand.
Re outdoor use, I too store my 'wavemaster' outside but cover it securely with a waterproof tarpaulin type thing.
does it ever fall? it looks like its about to tip over. also, does it get affected by rain? i see that its outside. and i have nowhere to store it except outside, i am afraid it will be ruined in the rain.
@Killare2, yes they are striking targets, representing low, middle and high section targets. The numbers are just a training aid so that either the athlete or one's trainer can drill the bag in a given pre-arranged or spontaeneous sequence... I guess.
yes, they do, but only when taking well excecuted pushing kick techniques (sidekick, spinning back kick, front pushing kick). My base is filled with water (250 lbs) but they say with sand it weighs 300 lbs, so presumably more stable. I am only 70kg (154 lbs) so Heavyweights for example are obvioiusly going to find it easier to knock over, smaller guys less so. Still is a good versatile piece of kit for solo training.
@Yiddobhoy I have a wavemaster XXL with the base filled with sand and I can't knock it down. I fight at 100Kg+ and can break 6" of wood with a jumping back kick so I can hit quite hard but its never gone down.
@unlyckystrike needs to be on a matt/carpet or some other non-slip surface indoors, otherwise base will rock and bang on floor and move around more (depending on ur size and strength good push kicks/flying techniques will knock her over, and even a series of heavy punches will cause her move around a bit. to Best to fill it with sand rather than water btw. Overall it is a good tool to practice kicks and combos but for developing punching strengh you can't beat a good old heavy bag!!!

it is made by T-Sport. I actually ordered the Wavemaster XXL from Sugar Ray's but they were out of stock so they sent me this. I was gonna send it back but they claimed it was 'the same' made in same factory, etc., and it was about £20 cheaper. Anyway I put it together and it work ok, but on the down side the screws in the tube need tighhtening after every.session! thanks for comment btw!
how tall are you? i'm just trying to get an idea of how big the bag is...
also, how much did it cost?
yardkyle 3 months ago
@yardkyle I am about 5' 9" - the bag stands at around 6'. It cost me £200, but that was 2 years ago.
Yiddobhoy 3 months ago
it was filled with water at the time - but eventually sprung a leak!
i now have it filled with sand which is actually much better, heavier, more stable.

@Yiddobhoy do you recommend? I am looking for a bag that I can use to train kicks at home.
