quazzard... incase you haven't noticed they are giving people their money back, as well as other options which i think people should appreciate. i'm gonna go to sunrise at the big chill and its gonna be great, too bad some people can't look passed the fact the humans make mistakes and its not always down to "pure propoganda". i dunno wat the situation for traders is but the public are getting refunds.
sucks that big green gathering isn't on this year!
there was a government severe weather warning for the South West for that week which was ignored by the organisers My daughter went with her son her mate and her three kids What happened was chaos from the beginning. Security all over the place They had to find some way to keep the kids dry and safe. Shameful money grabbing behaviour and this was supposed to be the best alternative to Glastonbury
i am sorry, but the last thing that these guys are into is making money - they have put a whole year of their lives into this and it has not for one moment been about making money
they did everything that they could to keep the festival open for us - the community, to have a wonderful time.
nice use of the word miasma, although i feel your vitriol is misplaced.
perhaps we can clear this all up with a sensible and informed discussion, as it is clear you have been miss informed and made assessments from an emotional and off centre mind set.
if as you say the mud was several feet deep how could the tractors have done the job they did helping people off site?
Rubbish-We were told by the guys at the entrance that the site was a complete miasma and that Sunrise organisers were in a meeting with the local council regarding as to whether the festival would be called off-this was well before anyone was admitted-you just went ahead and covered yourselves amidst blatant bad management and hid behind your fascistic security goons-Never again.I say AVOID this festival!
The site was NOT draining when we came on-It was a complete sea of mud-We were informed on arrival that the main arena had pools of mud several feet deep-how does this equate with your assertions? As for 'helping' people-people did a fabulous job of helping each other-all we got from you people was an ultimatum to leave the site early Saturday-How understanding of you.I still maintain that your film tells a version of the story which differs radically from our experiences. Pure propaganda.
i interviewed around 50 people about their experiences - almost all of them understood & had positive things to say about sunrise - yes we were all disappointed, none more than the organisers who put a year of their lives into the festival only because they care about creating a better future for us all
your anger is misplaced & out of proportion to the reality of the situation- what is your anger really about & who are you? -identify yourself so that you can be accountable for your accusations

You people did absolutely Jack to alleviate the plight of those marooned in the mud...You just carried on partying through the night..We should have never been admitted to that quagmire of a site, the only reason we all got corralled there was because you were being hassled by the police about the tailbacks on the 303.
I was told by a guy on the gate at 9.00am that the entire site was and had been underwater for over 24 hours.
this simply not true, those who were on the site partied all night, what did you want them to do? sit around and be miserable?
none of the organisers were partying, they we all consumed in attempting to stabalise the situation. he site was draining & drying out until the freak storm hit, everything possible was being done to keep the festival on
i am sorry i don't know who you are, but you have it completely wrong
you were admitted to the site in the belief that the festival would go ahead
the festival that never was!
