  • DAMN close to a Depression ???

  • Unfortunately WS and gov. have become one in the same, and there exists no transparency.

Whenever we talk about taxes, the question imo should always be what do we get for what we pay. Just as with a car, if you pay alot you should expect alot. We pay and get less and less each year. That to me is the biggest problem with taxes and their misuse...

  • great points...the only way to stop the misuse is to cut the funding, as is happening now...I think Ronald Reagan said you can't stop government growth but can only try to slow it down...the other one that bothers me is government saying it created 1 Million jobs when those jobs actually go away when the funding does...is that job creation?

  • CA used to have excellent roads, top notch unis, good water infrastucture, etc. Someone had to pay for it. High taxes meant that those services and equipment were available. Well, well, well, it seems giving tax breaks to corps didn't quite work now did it. Nobody seems to have learned the lesson of the Orange County bankruptcy, and what happens when you let Wall Street administer your public finances. Too bad...

  • great points, thanks! it's true that a weak infrastructure (roads, electricity, etc.) keeps an economy down (third world countries) but excessive taxes can also kill an economy as it has in the European Union. We're learning don't trust government or Wall Street, as if we didn't already know that...ha...

  • welcome to a world with "NoMo Money'.

    Hello Taxifornia
