This is great performance. Also, it was damn hypocritical the way King was treated. He was not an abuser in the sense that he forced his desires on boys. He claims they consented, they probably did. In the context of the liberal seventies it was acceptable. Gay people are accepted & no one has the right to say they are abnormal without threat. So why is it not normal to desire young men? Double standards. It is time for the restoration of Jonathan King.

This is a very good version, but it's not quite on the level of the original. There's something too croony, too light about it. The original song, the arrangment, tempo, and Jeff Lynne's singing was dreamier.

I really like your version. It's tasteful and executed with enthusiasm. I once possessed a cassette with ELO covers and your take of CGIOOMH was one of them. I always wondered who sang it. Now I know. The arrangement and voice always reminded me of Italian singer Angelo Branduardi. Way better than 99 per cent of the crap in the current single charts!
