Hey uhhh I don't really know if some one has helped you already and I know how to fix so what you do is open your ps2 up and there will be a small cover covering the lends and if you look around there will be 4 black screws take those of and disconect a wire atacked to that so disconect it you will see a flat board saw it of and the disc should work please reply from john.west911@gmail.com so thanks
the same thing hapen but with a diferent thing mine can read 4 ps2 games (harrypotter 2, age of empires2, sims1 and a game called groverider) and once 1 more but the day later it wont read again and ps1 games
second, u can install free mc boot on your memory card with usb advance on it. this way, u don't need lens. because u can play a game off a usb drive or usb hard drive
have u tired cleaning the lens with alcohol and a cue tip? theres plenty of vids on youtube showing how, or, if your really miss your ps2 you can call sony and get a 45 dollar refurb. or buy a 60 dollar used ps2 at gamestop.
pop off the top of the disc and pull the lazer all the way into the disc center. works every time

Put a blank CD on top, bt I think that only works for ps1 games, bt try it, anyway
