On the surface, you're kinda right, but look a little deeper. This bit of "entertainment" could serve as prototype for development of mass communication technology. Think of the implications for corporate collaboration, at least. Like virtual reality in research labs, it is difficult for the uninitiated to find the real-world application for certain "fun" technologies.

If people can "beta" test a technology like this while having fun, I say bravo. It beats bad TV shows for leisure time.
