I was listening to their 'We Are Shampoo' album on my ipod today and came on youtube tonight to see if any Shampoo videos were here, youtube never let's me down!! My fave song is 'Skinny White Thing' but this comes in a close second.
how old are they now? they must be in their 30s now, right? I just wished that Shampoo will return to the music scene again. we need bands (and hot babes) like that in the industry to show us something different
And by the way, if Shampoo ever come on youtube to watch their videos...just to say people still love your music. I'll never stop listening to it, I think you girls wrote some of the best pop songs ever.
Ah I have the video off this too but the one I have is the radio edit version...they cut out the 'hippy chicks are sad' line, which is annoying as it's the best bit. So thanks for uploading as it's cool to see Shampoo do it, didn't know there was a video with that line it!

Shampoo were always a guilty pleasure for me when they came out and in retrospect, they rock better than any contemporary female pop group.

Oh dear. Sounds like a Bananarama B-side from about 1981.

And Bananarama is the second best selling girlgroup ever, so that must be a good thing :-)
