Nice! Although I have a question about the iron content of the teapot. Wouldn't the iron change the colour and taste of the green tea? I assume it would change the taste for the better, but wouldn't it make the tea colour change to yellow?
No it will have no change on it. The iron is in the clay body and has been fired to a high temperature. There should be no taste or coloration from the iron as it is in a stone form. If it was a raw mineral, yes it would have the effect you describe, but since it is integrated into the stone, it would not.
damn im a shopping addict whenever i hear antique i want to have it lol

We have one, I was just wondering if it was something that you had seen before. I wonder what the engraving means?
Thanks for your response anyway!
