  • born in Mexico and the new Disney film ........... wait for their first

  • thank you for uploading this movie. Very inspiring. I was looking for this document y to present it to my Motion Graphic class for my studio presentation.

  • @excitingfilms

Thanks. Is good to know that this doc helps to the people.

Some one said in the comment that he upload the same documentary but with a better quality, try to check it out.

  • @excitingfilms Yeah we just watched it in my multi media class very good documentary..

  • I dont like cars movies at all. I think John Lasseter lost his touch as a director Every other pixar movie kicks ass except for the cars movies

  • pixar sucks at animation. Their humans don't look real at all.

  • @MoldytoasterMedia ... wtf. neither do CARTOONS. dumbass. Do you KNOW what area of art ANIMATION falls under? Surrealism. As in... not realistic. You tell me Elmer Fudd looks like a living breathing man and I will tell you that you are BLIND as a bad.

  • WHERE CAN I GET THE SONG THAT PLAYS IN THE BACKGROUND AT 2:46-3:25????? PLEASE ANSWER!!!!!!!!!

  • Does anyone know what the name of the orchastra music around the 6:00 mark?

  • Pixar would of never existed if George Lucas never divorced his wife and ended up being broke.

  • even though Cars 2 is bad, it atleast entertains on a visual level, which i can respect. the day that Pixar makes a movie with a bad story and bad animation is the day when i lose hope for the company

  • "There are so many younge people who are fascinated by animation..." this documentary gives me so much hope: I just happen to be one of those many younge people.

  • Pixar has never ceased to amaze me. Even when it steers close to being bad (Cars 2), it's still amazing. Well done, you have achieved the impossible many times over.

  • Thanks so much for posting these up :)

  • Pixar and Studio Ghibli are my two favorite animation studios

  • Joe Grant saying John Lasseter s a modern image of Walt DIsney must be a HUGE compliment.

  • I think Cars was a fun movie, but it's probably the weakest Pixar film to date. I really didn't feel the characters in Cars like I did in all the others. I remember going to see Toy Story at the movies with my dad when I turned 7, it was the most amazing thing ever.

  • I feel like with every pixar movie, like monster's inc. they had this mountain blocking their path. So they are climbing and climbing, untill, they finally reach the peak. And they find more than they ever thought could be on the other side. And then they do it all again, with a movie like cars

  • Bob Iger is a very smart CEO for Disney. That was a very smart move for him to buy Pixar and let their team (including Ed Catmull and John Lasseter) run all of Disney's animation. It oddly reminds me of how Apple bought NeXT Computer (Steve Jobs' second computer company) and Steve Jobs ended up as Apple's CEO.

  • cuu chow!!!!

  • That was beautiful. I'm in tears. Pixar's stories are so magical. Lasseter, Catmull, Steve, Pete, Brad...all of these people are amazing, inspirational people. Walt would be so, so proud.

  • Este fue un extraordinario documental, muchas gracias por subirlo, lástima que no haya sido en aquella época tan buena la calidad de youtube.

  • does anyone know what the songs is at the credits?

  • @shazzbot007 Yeah, but in the end, that "child" that Pixar cares for is still product. They would not make it if they did not think it was gonna make money.

  • Pixar Animated Studios > Disney Animated Studios :)

  • @SuperDrewify I have to disagree. Don't get me wrong, Pixar is great. Those guys should be winning Best Picture oscars left and right, but they would not be their if it wasn't for the Disney classics. There was a time a few years ago that Disney Animation did one terrible movie after another. I feel that there just now starting to get it again. Princess and the Frog & Tangled were both great and they give me high hopes for the future.

  • What's the song at the end? It starts at about 5:50.

  • Here's my list of Pixar movies:

    1. Toy Story (trilogy)

    2. Up

    3. Finding Nemo

    4. Monster's Inc.

    5. The Incredibles

    6. A Bug's Life

    7. Ratatoullie

    8. WallE

    9. Cars

  • Pixar is an amazing company. Every Film they have made is brilliant. I do hope Disney can get back on it's feet and make more wonderful stories like Aladdin, Snow White and the 7 dwarfs, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, the Princess and the Frog and etc.

  • I think it's amazing how each of their films were brought up by nothing, and made into something amazing. The story brought it together, and the people made it happen. The computer, as John said, is a tool. This tool, followed by the amazing people and fine stories have made the movie world...just a little happier & safer

  • I wonder why they didnt talk about the competition of other 3D animation studios like DreamWorks with Antz and Shrek

  • @TheChicagoguy yeah but shrek is too old for most kids, pixar really is for everyone

  • AMAZING! :) I do love Pixar movies :D

  • 5:49

  • Every single film Pixar has made is good. I can't get over this. How the hell do you even do that!? Well, I guess it shows in this video... you get a load of crazy people together who care a ridiculous amount. And it's so, so worth it!

  • Pixar is amazing, there is not much else to say.

  • "When planning a new picture, we don't think of grown-ups and we don't think of children. But just of that fine, clean unspoiled spot down deep in every one of us that maybe the world has made us forget and that maybe our pictures can help recall." - Walt Disney -

  • It kinda bums me that the documentary failed to mention Joe Ranft's death prior to the release of "Cars". : (

  • aw I miss Joe Ranft :(

  • Does anyone know the song that starts playing at 02:48?

  • Very nice Video. Thanks.
