nice vid mate :) i gotta get a gopro soon man! i was getting sweaty palms around the 6:40 mark tho, looks a bit of a blind bend you were aproaching lol.. great vid tho mate Verona looks awesome!
@DICKTURPIN1976 yeah that seems a blind spot due to the tank perspective and the fisheye distortion but i'm pretty tall and i could see the road perfectly at 100%, i NEVER pass cars if i'm not 101% sure :)
plus in summer i ride this whole path at least once a day so i know it very well but i still don't get to confident to avoid errors that could be fatal to me :P
@Margalus89 ok thats good to hear, self preservation is the way forward! :) and yeah the camara prob does make it look worse than it is.. is that the 1080p HD gopro? the picture is crystal clear like isnt it
@DICKTURPIN1976 no sadly this is a friend's 960 and i lowered the quality. i'll buy the 1080p Hero2 in a month or two when the season opens and then i'll restart making on-boards :P
ahhh...bella italia !!! in a few month i will buy am camera for my bike and then you can see a little bit more of my baby ;-) during the christmas time i've changed a lot...
@jeremyj0120 thanks buddy :) the city is Verona, in the northern part of Italy(the city of Romeo and Juliet), and the mount..well i used american adesive tape on the metal part of the tank(it didn't ruin it) 'cause this is the GoPRO of a friend of mine and didn't have the mount. I'm searching for a Hero 2 at a good price and next time i'll use the proper mounts :)
anyway, i'm checking your videos now i'll leave a comment asap :)
@Margalus89 Wow Verona looks really nice. I think you did a good job with the mount. I've tried the suction mount on my tank, but it didn't work well because the shape of the tank. So now i use a mount that screws on to the gas tank. Yeh im looking foward to seeing more videos on your CBR. :)
@jeremyj0120 yeah it's pretty cool but when i'll upload the mountain ride it'll be 100 times better! what bike do you have exactly? the Ninja? anyway i wanted to build a custom mount to screw it on the tank, my dad's a mechanic passionate so he has a lot of screws, and use it the next time so you can even see a bit more of the bike even though i'm really happy with this camera angle :)
damn! tight road! no wonder a lot of italians ride scooters. set your gopro to 16:9 wide screen so u won't have that 4:3 border. practice your leaning skills. u looked hesitant when making turns. also, don't be afraid to downshift when approaching a turn. i hope this helps.
@rheaMDC21 thanks Mark! well this is not exactly a good riding road but it's near my house so i go here when i don't have time to do the big things..i'll upload a mountain ride tomorrow and you'll see better roads.
thanks for the tips too, i've improved a bbit since then but still i need a lot of practise, i'll try to downshift harder next time!
for the GoPRO, this is my friend's and it's not the 1080p version so i used 960 :)
i'd better switch in 720 next time to have the 16:9 aspect ratio
